I really thought the East had made some strides this year... silly me, the east is for Lebron only.

If they play Miami, he's gonna be able to juice it up without having to take a mid playoff vacation.

Whiteside suffers another knee injury. This time out for the game.

Hopefully it's not too serious. You'd hate to see a kid lose money this late in the season.

If Cavs are not 12-0 going into the finals, they should be ashamed.

Meh, the Cavs are so far above either one of these teams level it's not even funny. Cavs/Raptors is a sweep, Cavs/Heat might go 5 if Whiteside is ok.

Exactly why Lebron will never come out West, he gets an easy walk to the finals every year.

Not Lebron's fault that the East sucks. Good for him.

Lol, but he's too big of a b**** to wanna face real competition like Kobe and Duncan did for years because they're all time great competitors.

f*** LeBron and his easy way I don't wanna face a real competition mentality.

That's rich. He should change the conference just to face a tougher competition. What about blaming the owners for sucking year after year after year. I'm sure Kobe would bolt East if he had no real competition...

lol please stop it. If that was the case Kobe would've okayed the trade to Chicago. He didn't and he always stayed out West. He loved playing for the Lakers, but he loved the competition out West. It molded him, drove him, and made him better. It's a big reason why Kobs is better than LeBron. He wanted the challenge that LeBron wanted no part of.

Cavs are on a hot streak from outside. Hasn't happened all season and I don't think it'll happen against good competition.

Gee sorry for wanting an elite player to have a little competiveness and wanting to beat the best.

LeBron's a wuss because he teamed up with wade instead of trying to prove he was the better of the two. that's my big beef with him. had he just teamed up with bosh in ny and went to battle against wade/amare and kobe/gasol, I would have had a lot more respect.

as far as staying in a conference...less of a sin to me. I just honestly believe guys like magic and bird who said they wouldn't have played together.

It's not like he escaped the West .

It's a smart move to stay in this Conference ... and no no superstar ( Kobe included) would have given up multiple Finals appearances opportunities to beat the best teams in the West

So Whiteside is day to day with a sprained MCL. Valanciunas is out the rest of this series with a sprained ankle. Just when you thought this series couldn't get any less entertaining. I know 2 games went to OT, the 3rd almost did too, hit it's been ugly as hell to watch for the most part. Valanciunas has been one of the only interesting players to watch, and Whiteside has at least made it difficult for the raptors to score in the paint.

Yikes my concerns about DeRozan continue. He just came back in the game - missed a 10 foot jumper, followed it up and BLEW an unguarded layup, then comes down next possession and runs a guy over for a charge. I don't want this guy.
