I would honestly be surprised if Love or Kyrie (or both) didn't go down at some point before the playoffs are over.
Miami is so injured at this point, I think I'd rather Cavs deal with a healthy Raps squad. Of course if Bosh and Whiteside were around I still believe they would have beat the LeCavs.
Biyombo is a very nice player, but he suuuuucks at free throws and man is he gonna get overpaid. He's mainly a defensive and rebounding guy, not gonna score much unless he's spoon-fed. He's a taller, longer Tarik Black.
I know, but this career backup who is decent is suddenly going to get star money. If he doesn't keep up this type of play or continue to improve some team is gonna regret giving him a boatload of money. He's solid, but his value will be inflated by this playoff run, like many players before him. I'd probably rather overpay on player with a more proven track record. I know he's 23 and hasn't gotten the playing time, but he's a 5 and 8 player, come on.
Yeah, I misheard Breen, thought he said 52% ft shooter. That's quite a bit better, and looking at his career stats his ft numbers have gone up every season consistently. His form is just hideous though.
The only good news imo is that Lebron and co haven't been challenged these playoffs so they could slip up and allow the Raps to steal game 1.
Meh, sweep. Raptors are about to get exposed. They're going from fighting like hell to beat mediocre competition to facing the hottest team in the playoffs.
The Cavs somehow doing a 16-1 or 16-0 has been my nightmare scenario. Hopefully they pull a 89 Lakers and get swept by GS.
Hopefully a miraculous thing can happen and the Raptors can shock the Cavs, but I don't think it's going to happen. Basketball lovers are excited about a possible LeBron/Kevin Durant & Kyrie/Russell Westbrook finals. I think that's going to be the finals, but I'm rooting for the Raptors now that they beat the Heat. I wanted the Heat to shock the cavs in storybook fashion, but things didn't go as planned.
