I'm not even made at their celebration. They can go as crazy over the top as they want, they earned it. This is almost like the Cubs winning the World Series or when the Red Sox finally did. That city hasn't celebrated in 52 years, I cannot even fathom it, good for them.

Cavs Offer Harrison Barnes Max Contract To Keep Playing For Warriors

Putting to rest any discussion that Warriors forward Harrison Barnes’ poor NBA Finals performance would diminish his market value as a free agent this offseason, the Cleveland Cavaliers have offered Barnes a five year, $105 million contract to stay with the Warriors.

“Harrison has been one of our most valuable players during these Finals, and we want to reward that performance,” Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert explained. “We also want to ensure that Barnes will be on the Warriors’ NBA Finals roster for years to come.”

NBA pundits have questioned whether Barnes’ first four seasons in the NBA merit a max contract, but Gilbert told reporters to “look beyond his regular season stat-line, and instead, look at his NBA Finals numbers.”

“That’s the kind of performance that can win us a championship,” Gilbert, who owns the Cleveland Cavaliers, added.
