Shaq also made the Finals in '95 in the East with the Magic, but the East was actually good then. They beat the Bulls with MJ and Pippen, and beat a great Pacers team, almost the same Pacers team the Lakers faced in the Finals in 2000.

ESPN Radio today: "LeBron making it to 7 Finals in the modern era is amazing. That just doesn't happen." yeah, if you ignore Kobe, like you've done for the past 20 years. Wanna know what else is amazing? Winning 5 of them. SMH

Not gonna celebrate yet....all this talk about the Cavs not having a chance is gonna make the LeBron comeback story the greatest NBA Finals story of all time. You don't think the media is salivating at that right now? Setting us all up to think that it's over only to see LeBron come back from down 0-2 against the GREATEST TEAM IN NBA HISTORY? Until the Warriors win game 3....I'm not counting out the Cavs yet. They can still turn this around.

"I feel confident because I’m the best player in the world. It’s that simple." --LeBron

...before being closed out in game 6 last year.

Thank you. Rolling my eyes so hard at that media today saying this series is over and Cleveland is outmatched by the better team. Like we didn't just see GS lose games 3 and 4 on the road last series. Like we aren't one more Steph Curry ankle or knee tweak away from this being Cleveland's series. I'm not celebrating jack until I see the Warriors holding that trophy up.

    Dude I'm celebrating already. :D

It's over! I called 5 games from the start on this one the Cavs just don't have the Championship mettle. They're giving up already. They'll get desperate and win a close one either Wednesday or the next game which is probably a week from Wednesday (why is there so much time between games this year?). I never bought them as a contender and I never bought them as a threat to whoever won the West. Kyrie and Love are uncomfortable, neither likes James. James is uncomfortable because he's not an alpha. He's forcing himself to be one, but really he doesn't know how to carry himself like Steph and Kobe and Jordan and the real killers do/did.

Of course some injury changes things up a little bit, but I don't see Cleveland coming back and winning 4/5 games against the defending champs. Cleveland isn't nearly as good as Oklahoma and they're close to as hungry as any Western Conference team.

I'm going to blame you for the jinx if Cleveland wins this series now, real.

Well...if this series is not competitive then it could lead to that NCAA type seeding format that Silver has mentioned.
