Yuck, I had a dream that Cleveland was up by 20 in the first half and Curry was playing injured, however GS scored 36 points in the fourth quarter and won 128-127.

Oh the LBJ sycophants today in headlines are all over the "He'll prove himself the best ever of all times..... this year if he beats GS because Jordan never faced a team as great as this year's GS team..... if Cleveland wins" card.

Weird...If I'm not mistaken prior to the season many writers were saying how the Warriors weren't as good as they were a while ago...

But opinions change as the season goes on, I guess... Also super weird seeing people throw Micheal Jordan under the bus out of the blue now, wonder how he feels?

MJ is getting thrown under the bus to prop up Lebron because Lebron has been passing Jordan in statistical records. Yet the important one is still 6 > 3. Oh wait, I forgot the Cleveland ring is worth 5 /sarcasm.

It's been said, but the vibe I get from watching ESPN today is if Durant wins, it's meh, because he's supposed to win with this talented team. If he loses, it's ultimate failure, because he joined a superteam to win and couldn't get it done still. If LeBron wins, he's somehow equal to Jordan instantly, which I don't agree with, but ok, whatever. I'm not going to watch these games if I can help it, because I don't need the aggravation, and I don't need to see LeBron celebrating another title while people put him equal with or above Jordan and continue to push Kobe down the ladder and pretend he didn't exist.

I agree, I have no interest in these games unless Lebron is losing by 20+ in each one with 1 minute left.

Rasheed Wallace, and a slew of great role players and former all stars. 50 wins. Chris Webber and Divac, both all stars, and the highest scoring team that year. 55 wins. Tim Duncan and David Robinson, both all stars and a top 3 ever coach. 58 wins. MVP, coach of the year, DPOTY and 6th man. 56 wins.

    vs

1 All star, George with so so cast. 42 wins. 2 all stars, Demarr and Lowry good rest of the squad. 51 wins. 1 all star, IT, good starters. 53 wins. GS 4 all stars, 67 wins.

I don't think it's even close. PDX womp Indy, same with Sac vs Raptors and Spurs vs C Bags. GS is better than Philly. That's it.

    jazzy killin' it.

dirk nowitzki (and try to remember who else) beat lebron, wade, and bosh smack in the middle of their respective primes. but that mavs title is lame, and somehow lebron (with kyrie irving and kevin love!) taking on durant/curry/thompson is david vs. goliath.

    f*** that noise.

and i'm not a lebron hater. he's an all-time great. but that's some b*******, folks.

i AM curious to see how durant performs in the finals, though. folks are right: he has a justifiable HUGE target on his back. you join an already-champion, you better win. and you better show up big when it counts. that's difficult, psychologically, and i wonder if he considered it when he was signing.

    it's here now.

Yeah, we beat the former champs, and the runner ups and the champs for the next year. and a 48 win team. All healthy. You can say the Heat and OKC weren't ready yet or that the Lakers were old but those are pretty weak excuses.

I'll give him 07. That was a garbage team. and 15 pretty much the same with the injuries. But 11, and 14 were all on him.

I like how JVG calls KD for the palming, which is legit, but Ewing practically made a living using that move lol.

Beadle is finally she should be; on the studio, where she can't blow Pop and the SA every chance she gets. Don't get me wrong, she's a UTSA Roadrunner, and while she left a few years after I started working at Carrabas, she would come in sometimes and she was always really nice. But couldn't stand her on SN.

Anyone have a theory as to why Klay goes Casper every Finals? The Warriors legitimately need Durant to have a chance to win these Finals because you can't beat LeBron and Kyrie with Curry also not as good as usual, Klay vanishing, and seemingly only Green showing up hungry.
