eh, gs is still a kerr-coached team. if pop was laid up, the spurs would still be a popovich-coached team. the best coaches instill their philosophy so deeply that it can exist in their absence. yes, they can make great in-game adjustments, but the essence of what makes these teams "well-coached" is a cumulative effect. watching the spurs scrubs trounce houston in houston is a good example of this. in other words, i don't think mike brown can f*** this up.
no, I don't think so. On another note, I think the C Bags give the Cavs the most trouble between the two. WAS may have better scoring, but those other guys have the defensive players and depth to make it a good series. The only trouble I see from them would be defensive rebound. Thompson and Love for the Cavs are great offensive rebounders and if BOS is having trouble with defensive rebounding against WAS I can imagine the trouble they might have those the Cavs. I just hope whoever advances to play CLE none of their players get hurt during Game 7.
C Bags have the defensive players but can anyone step up to help IT? Cavs will focus all defense on him. Warriors will be fine for this round at least. They have 4 of the best 5 players in that series. Kawhi can't guard everyone AND score for the Spurs. Warriors will run circles around LMA and Pau.
Never, never underestimate the power of Mike Brown's ineptitude. This is the man that got fired shortly after losing eight pre-season matches. To reference Ice Cube's "Friday" this is the equivalent of getting fired on your day off.
Lamarcus Aldrige is a new man. He's playing like he used to play. Spurs are way more prepared than the Warriors. I always thought long layoffs were overrated regarding that well rested stuff.
If the Spurs beat the Warriors without Tony Parker, then it's an epic fail on their part. All of that money acquiring KD and they still haven't gotten it together. If the Spurs advance LeBron has his 4th championship ring.
OK, If Spurs even get to the Finals, that absolutely solidifies Pop as the greatest coach ever, and I though Phil had it in the bag 5 years ago. Dammit.
Aldridge with ball...dribble, dribble, dribble, bump defender, spin right and shoot fade-away. Is that all he has?
Not "concerned" about the Warriors in the least. This Spurs team is not beating a roster with Durant, Curry, Klay, and Green 4 out of 7 games.
