Reading reports that Kerr might be done for the playoffs. Potato Head era begins in Oakland.

Has their reclamation substance abuser project Sanders seen any playing time yet, or is that already a no go?

...upon reading this, I looked for bits about it. Recurring problems from his recent back surgery. Not something to dismiss. Read that Bill Walton once had it so bad that he thought about suicide.

Pretty pathetic play by the Clippers to close out this game, Joe Johnson worked them, took them apart surgically. Jazz tie the series up at 2 games apiece. Sure the Clippers don't have Griffin, but the Jazz don't have Hayward either, he played 9 mins and then was done with food poisoning. Clippers gonna clip.

OKC and Houston have been unwatchable for years , uninteresting styles of play and way too many FTs

I thought they had for the swing through move, but apparently not if you're name is Chris Paul.

The mighty cavs with their 3 allstars managed to beat the .500 pacers team by only 1, 6, 5, and 4 points in the series

Well Harden had 7 fts to RW's 14. I hope that makes the arbiters of fair fts satisfied for the moment.

Stop reaching at 25 feet and stay on your feet. Things you learn in middle school basketball. Simple.

When Luke realizes he could have become the Warriors head coach this year in these playoffs.

yeah, because all i do is count fts (terrible method for your general argument, btw). btw, harden didn't deserve 5 of those 7.

also note that without a high FT count, harden was a +0 and scored less than 20 points on 30% shooting. in other words, he totally supported my argument, not yours.

    keep tryin', though.

you (and nba officials) need to better understand "legal guarding position".

you know what i didn't learn in middle school basketball? to force contact by encroaching awkwardly into the defender's space, then fling up a shot that i'd never take in the flow of the game. why? because middle school refs don't fall for that, and my coach would have benched me.

edit: here's a decent passage on legal guarding position:

the italicized and bolded sections are where the officials have chosen to officiate different players different ways. particularly the interpretation of "vertical plane".

harden's most egregious offenses actually have to do with the italicized portion, wherein he just barrels into retreating defenders who had legal guarding position. those are offensive fouls, not blocks. monta ellis gets called for it. harden gets and-1s.

I think Paul George checked out in that game. He had zero intensity. I thought he should have played better, But he's probably looking up what jersey numbers are available in LA or Boston.
