Should never happen On another note, it would make me very happy to see Dallas beat Houston out for the 8 seed. Blow that ish up lol
GS no longer dominating teams by 20+ points every game. Lately it seems they're tied throughout entire games but narrowly pull out a W in the final minutes of the 4th
As I said many times before , I hope Stevens won't get superior talent anytime soon , if that's the case we're f***ed... f*** the Buss kids again ...
GS should take it easy. No one will care about breaking Bulls record if they won't repeat. Of all teams it had to be Boston, who beat them on their home floor . We got them too though
although I'm inclined to agree that stevens is a good coach, I'm not sure we can render a verdict on his greatness until he actually does have better players. some coaches are really good at overachieving with subpar rosters but can't win big (I think rick Adelman did a lot of this over the years, for example). as it stands, boston is going to be like, a 45 win team. this isn't worth the level of fawning that franchise is receiving in the press.
We definitely need a new coach, and we need better players, but just because your team can't shoot like San Antonio doesn't mean you won't make the playoffs. I was simply addressing the claim that we don't have guys who can score/shoot. If we make it simply "shoot" then I agree with you. We do seem to disagree, however, about whether you can have a successful offense without five shooters on the floor. Scorers can penetrate and make plays, do it in transition, and attack the rim. Shooting always helps, but you don't need five shooters.
my point was that you need five shooters for sequences like the one presented to occur. lots of teams score the ball without playing 5 shooters. hell, most of them do.
Fatigue kicking in, Kerr has to make a decision. Go for the record, or rest his players so they'll be fresh for the playoffs.
Watching the GS-Wolves game, without looking at stat sheet, wiggins and Towns look good. Curry looks human. Rubio and Towns have done a great job on Curry.
They have to win 4 games in a row, it's doable, especially if Pop does sit his main guys in one of or both of those Spurs games. But, they can also win 3 of 4 and still tie the record, that alone would still be amazing.
Stunner in Oakland. They have to face the Spurs twice to close out. I don't think they make it. Maybe it'll buy them some rest though.
If I'm Kerr, I give up on the record. Make a statement to the team that this shouldn't be the driving force. The driving force is winning a title and they're starting to fatigue which will hurt that goal. If I'm the players, I start drinking coffee or something because they look very tired. Better find that 2nd, 3rd, or 18th wind or whatever reserves you've got left because if you want that record you have to get focused now.
Video: Fan getting the ball and shooting it, Result.... Hilarious Reggie Jackson's facial expression is great haha
