yeah, i'm obviously shocked, too. i figured indy would give it all but come up short in the 4th quarter. wrong! i expect okc to win comfortably in game 7, but this series has had me wrong-footed most of the way. in either case, what a playoffs by indy as a whole. even if they don't win, i'll remember it like they did.
Clown league with the players in it … what a joke. The XFL was more legit. Stupid concept who seriously cares. Whoa LT that’s harsh! I got hacked
Well I'm glad to see that former meme team members are staying productive. And mad Jax doing mad Jax things, nothing to see here.
Pacers put up a gutsy game after Tyrese's achilles snapped in the 1st Q, but the 3rd Q barrage and great D by OKC was too much. Pretty thrilling series; I'm not one who gives AF about both teams being "small market" and how much $$$ the league loses by not having the Lakers, Warriors, Knicks, Bulls, etc. Next year it will be the Lakers, of course. Congrats to any lurking OKC fan who reads Lakersball.com. You guys were really great this year.
wow man, that sucks. Way too early in his career for a snapped achilles. Nobody comes back 100% from that.
I just watched the HL of Edgecombe's debut in the Summer League: I liked him a lot in NCAA last year, the impact in this pre-season was truly devastating. He has nothing to do with this level here, on both sides of the court he does what he wants and how he wants. Great pick for the Sixers, let's see if they are able to exploit it well.
Spurs just got Olynyk for nothing, good underrated guy, he's gonna help them. I think they will be in the top8 mix and if they make the big move they are holding Keldon and Vassell for, they'll be right there in the tier below OKC. Booker just signed that ridiculous contract, he would make a ton of sense for them if Phoenix were willing to rebuild
yeah, the olynyk pickup is nice for them; he brings something a little different. they needed one more big, and he and kornet being slower is mitigated by wemby being...an alien. skilled, smart, strong dudes is probably the right pairing for him in the frontcourt. san antonio should make the playoffs this year, imo. the west is just too tough.
Can we say the Spurs have made a lot of interesting moves in the last year ? The Fox trade was a good one for them, this one of Olynyk too. Great decisions on the draft side: Wemby of course, but also Castle and Harper. I don't think they're ready to compete at the highest level, but it's a very interesting roster.
yeah, and they kept vassell and their two lotto picks this year out of the fox deal. with all the fuss about us getting luka for low cost, everyone just ignored the spurs adding an allstar pg in his prime for basically zach collins, tre jones, and 4 1sts. two of which are SA's during wemby prime time, so...blah. the only juicy pick was minny's 2031 unprotected, i think. anyway, they have depth and talent at all positions and a two-way superstar. they should be good.
