i'm not sure about that. if we have taken that long a look and move on, do teams want to buy in?

i get it. it's clear why. i'm just not sure they were right. i could argue THT had more trade value in the short-term, so we should have moved him for a vet or draft picks last year and retained the sure thing. and caruso is a sure thing, if his early bulls play hasn't convinced you yet.

also, it's a false dichotomy: both could be in uniform right now.

Because Ingram, Randle, Ball, Clarkson or Russell weren't good enough to be here but are now Max or +20M players. THT may have a similar career if he's not as good as his ceiling. That's good trade value

There were multiple reports that the tax implications of having both would be huge, 40M area. For me, I would do everything to keep Caruso, I think he's the perfect guy for a contender team. But I understand the decision

In 5 years it may be enough having AD, THT and a star. You cannot say the same for a AD, Caruso and another star

I agree with Pika, that if it came down to THT or Caruso, we had to choose THT. What still irks me, is that it did not come down to that. We could have and should have signed both and let the owners lose out a bit on profit. Make that up with some promo, or put one more stupid patch on the jerseys opposite Bibigo.

By the way, on the Bibigo promo, I finally tried some of the product from Costco. It's good, I got the mini chicken potstickers. I would buy them again.

Yeah me too. Bought the dumplings in the box with the packs of six and small bag of sauce for each and the bag of mini won tons, supply your own sauce. Have had 2 portions so far of the dumplings nuked per instructions and meh not impressed won’t buy again. And 12 of the won tons also nuked per instructions and a mix I made of soy and teriaki sauces and maybe like them a little better. Those are chicken and cilantro plus stuff. Probably by the time I finish that big bag won’t want them again either. Only trying both types when hungry and wanting something quick. Possible I won’t even wind up using all of the remaining quantities from the freezer.

Mini chicken potstickers eh? Maybe 3rd time’s charm. With the freaking record contract Jeanie got out of these guys …. she should have signed BOTH the Eagle and THT and then let their play decide their value for the future going forward.

I got the chicken cilantro ones. Fried them in a little oil, which I believe would be much better than nuking them. They got nice and crispy, then I made a sauce from ponzu, soy sauce, sesame oil and chili paste. My wife loved them too.

Keeping Caruso > Keeping THT because Lebron will be done when THT is ready

Try steaming them or pan frying in a little bit of oil. Will get a much better product than just nuking them. For the sauce either buy dumpling sauce from an asian market or make a mix of soy sauce, sriracha, a little vinegar, seasame oil.

The real question is what does Bald Eagle think of the dumplings? He probably doesn’t like them since he got dumped by the Lakers.

I’m not gonna lie, I like this Bulls team a lot, they’re fun. Always liked LaVine, and you add in DeRozan, Ball, and Caruso and it’s just a fun team, I’m rooting for them when it’s not against us. So good to see Lonzo and AC succeeding. We really, really messed up letting AC walk, but I’m glad another city gets to appreciate him now.
