LMAO. How does that even happen. You put those on in the locker room? Nobody notices and he totally forgets. Yeah .... yeah .... I know why he "forgets" .... too much of the good stuff. Allegedly.

Honestly, Cuffs is legit. I'd be shocked if Melo doesn't join at this point.

F***. You know the Bulls are going to waive him. Do not want. Zero need for a washed up ball-stopper here.

There is 1% chance he does not end up on the Lakers, I can see it now.

    the real question is....how?

We would have to waive someone and i don't see us waiving any guaranteed players at this point...

Is Melo eligible to be a player on a two-way contract?

If we waive Beasley to sign Melo I will seriously break my computer...

I can see us waiving Bonga for some reason....

Looks at recent #LakersBawl posts in this thread...

    Then looks at this tweet...

Then looks to see that Lakers currently have no partially or fully unguaranteed contracts on the payroll..

Then looks to see the calendar confirms that the trade deadline is just over 2 weeks away...

Looks back at the recent #LakersBawl posts in this thread...

So then what’s your call here?

I completely admit I have no idea how this would work. Just feel like it’ll happen.

^^^I understand the frustration around here... Losing Bron to the longest stretch of games in his career, losing Rondo to suspension, then to compounding injuries in his shooting hand, losing BI to suspensions and injury, not having Beas due to off court responsibilities that are not in his control, not having McGee return back to form after having a bout with pneumonia (but that delay is to be expected when you have an underlying condition such as asthma). Now Zo's down... possibly for the season.

Then of course, there's all the losing to bad teams and losing games that we should have closed out.

It's frustrating and infuriating...I get it.

But the report clearly states we won't waive a guaranteed contract to make room for Melo, so why are some of y'all losing your s*** over that specific possibility.

Zo's out, so more 'Do and BI there.. Which means we're going to possibly need another scoring wing. Melo won't be that answer, but we're probably going to do a 2 for 1 for a scoring wing (Ellington, Ross, Simmons or Morris comes to mind)...then after a roster spot opens up, we trade Melo into it or pick him up off the buyout market.

We're seriously talking zero risk (especially if the outgoing contracts are expiring deals)...but half y'all acting like we're about to sign dude to a 25yr deal. I'm okay with y'all being upset... But some of y'all extra with it and you know who you are.

I think he's suggesting a 2 for 1 trade could happen for the Lakers, and if so, it would open up a roster spot.

I still think it's unlikely, but whatever.

Yeah. I hear you on those points.

I’m not upset over the thought of this especially with all the injuries we are dealing with. I’m legit curious of your take here. I get Woj’s report but you don’t think we’d cut say Caruso or someone at the end of the bench to bring in Melo? Is there some reason we couldn’t or wouldn’t do that outside of just Woj’s reporting.

I don’t really see the fit but this has felt inevitable to me for a while. Yes, a lot of that’s based on unreliable twitter sources with “connections” to LeBron but I don’t know. I just see Carmelo ending up out there with LeBron.
