    It's a 10 day contract, so I have zero issues with this at all, it's smart to do. That said, I'm tempering my expectations by noting that the Gatorade League is not the NBA. Players are like many inches shorter at each position, that's why this 6'4 guy is listed as also a SF, because in the Gatorade League you have 5'9/5'10 dudes running around playing PG, and Ryan Kelly is a large player that can dominate..

    He's so geeked out, really happy for him and this opportunity I could definitely see us sign him to a 2nd 10 contract and maybe even the rest of the year so we can evaluate him longer. Hope he plays tonight which Luke said he could.

    Adding Nwaba should make the Lakers' bench a defensive team. There are players on the bench who are known for their defense. Whether its from the NBA, D-League or College (Luol Deng, Larry Nance, Corey Brewer, David Nwaba). Zu has the potential to be a defensive center. Luke says Jordan improved his defense.

    What I notice about that lineup: no shooting at all. Like absolutely zero outside shooting on that team. They better score 40 points in transition off of defensive stops.

    He was tremendously active in his 5 minutes. I definitely saw the makings of an NBA defender. Everything else was nondescript, but hey it's 5 minutes for a rookie in the 4th quarter of a close game. Tough position to be put in.

    Honestly it seemed like a tank move.
