Smart is the new Pierce not as talented. Something smarmy about him. More like M.L. Carr.

...shoots to the right side of his head. So-so release with a flat arc. Then we have the other one, catches the ball, no dribbling to settle in and flings the ball to the rim.

While we're at the dunk contest. People tend to forget one of the best dunkers there was... Jason Richardson. The fact that he's not the 3 time champ (and Nate is) is a disgrace. Same with Shaq and Kobe's MVP awards. But back on topic, i love LNJ :).

ML Carr is a better comparison. Some fledgling talent and a giant head. F*** Marcus Smart. He embodies the C bag way and I mean that as the deepest insult.

No thanks. Larry Nance Jr. is the kind of player you just described.

Marcus Smart is a travesty to watch and bad for the sport.

That's not really the point. Smart is a piece of **** and masks his lack of talent with antics that keep him on the floor.

Larry is a player with limited talent who works his *** off to contribute. There's a big difference between what Smart does and what Larry does.

Nance has been solid for a while now.

Lets just hope he doesn't get injured like he always does after 20 games lol.

Nance is great in the bench role. Starter? Not so much. Glad to see him doing well as a reserve.

Breaking a hand is nothing to worry about. Guys who are active defensively like Larry are going to have a finger or a hand injury at some point in their career unless their hands are made of steel like MWP's. I'm more worried about his lower limbs, which so far are holding up well, knock on wood.

I enjoyed watching him in college, but he has been underwhelming in the pros.

Nance getting up off the bench to talk to a heated Brook was my favorite thing from yesterday's game.

am i the only one that thinks the trade rumors about nance are being initiated externally? the coaching staff obviously loves him, and he's a useful role player on a low-dollar contract for two more years. sounds like wishful thinking from other gms.

i'm actually starting to think clarkson and randle aren't as available as people indicate, either.

I think Clarkson is the most available. Julius has played himself into the position we wanted out of him. He's proven his worth and we're unlikely to get a great return on him. Clarkson seems like the easiest one to dump if we need the cash.

Nance and Randle have been a real effective duo for the 4/5 rotation. Solid and pretty consistent work most nights. Larry's a real asset. Running in the sand with his parachute set him up well for this season as did Randle's regimen him.

Remember when the Nance/Randle 4/5 combo didn't work. Now it works. Progress!
