I dont see us being more than a play-in team again. need something to shake things up deeply again like last season, either a big trade or a coaching change.
3-7 in our last 10 games, now a .500 team, but it’s fine, don’t change a thing, that’ll solve things. Just continue to let Ham use his 200th different lineup, and stand there hands in pockets while we free-fall in the standings.
What a disappointing season so far. This team looked great on paper this summer. What a stupid move by the FO getting rid of Vogel for this clown.
Team is underachieving to say the least. Now’s definitely a good time for Ham to break out his motivational speaker routine. We’ve got a lot of home games coming up and need to capitalize
Communication. Alvarado running up on every Laker drawing a paycheck and not one teammate or coach gave them a head up at any point. I think i even saw him run up on Ham with clipboard in hand... only to realize it was blank.
Well if I had to guess I would say it would be very hard to beat teams without a decent PG in the NBA. Next to impossible without any and that's what the Lakers are facing. Add in no Cam: defense went to s***, Rui out and one second night of a B2B sucks. Frustrating that the team is losing so many games from every player outside of AD/Lebron/Reaves
They need a PG who can consistently put offensive pressure on opposing defenses and a guy who rebounds besides AD.
Something seriously wrong in this locker room. Makes me wonder if some of the guys KNOW they are getting traded ASAP. Ham is not cutting it, they probably won't change him out until the end of the year. I sure thought we were going to be way better than this. Very disappointing.
my working theory is dlo got wind we were shopping him heavily, which led to the downturn in play, subsequent benching, etc. and again if gabe hadn't perished, i think we weather this better than we have. he was expensive insurance because we were always shaky about dlo (hence his contract details). and ham's obviously not the answer, but aren't some of these people claiming he's the problem the same ones claiming he was such an upgrade over vogel? he definitely hasn't been at all, imo. even on offense, where he was supposedly better. to hell with this "ham's a defensive coach stuff", too. anyway, the season i wanted is dead, basically regardless of what happens from here on out. i wanted a better product on the floor from start to finish, something like what finished last year. instead, we get this junk. 34 games in and we know nothing about roles, lineups, etc. it's sort of amazing. the next homestand will determine if the year ends up a trainwreck or just a disappointment, imo. if we don't stack some wins in a hurry, this will spiral.
1) Lack of lineups continuity with last season whereas Bron , AD , Austin and Rui are still there is difficult to understand .. Ham can't identify who our best players after Bron and AD are 2) We're missing Schröder a great deal as a 6th man 3) We're badly paying the fact we only retain DAR as a trade asset 4) Max Christie has two way player potential but Ham hasn't learned the lesson the Nuggets series taught him , you can't play specialists ( Reddish) when it matters
I think this is pretty much where I am. I feel like we’ve got a few more wins if we still had Dennis. Vincent signing is unfortunately a big whiff for us at the moment.
