You could still do a Beverly, Jones and JTA trade for Bogdanovich salary-wise. Him and Cam would really help our lack of wings for now and the short term future. Bogdanovich as starter, Cam off the bench. Get it done Rob!
Who’s fault was it this time? By the looks of the score, my guess is the defense was pretty awful again.
Defense was awful and I have no idea what they were trying to do on offense the last 5 minutes of the game.
We are 9-17 against .500 plus teams this season. Newsflash: we have to play 8 of our next 11 games against above .500 teams before the deadline. Probably most to all of them without AD. We need help RIGHT NOW. Otherwise the season might be buried. Edit: 7 of 11 against over .500 teams, just saw the Clippers lost tonight. Still not good because they always seem to beat us anyway. And Portland in their house is usually a loss as well.
Like what kind of defense says let's leave Kevin Huerter completely open for wing 3 pointer off a simple pass from Fox who wasn't even blitzed/doubled. Just bizarre. Got admit this was frustrating as I don't know why you don't post Lebron up or if you're going to play Russ use him as a screener on the PnR
This team is f****** garbage, nothing changed, LeBron has just been superhuman. When he doesn’t score 40+ we can’t win.
Also, friggin loud “Let’s go Kings!” Chants in our building? Disgraceful. How did our fans not boo to drown that out? Edit, sorry, it was “light the beam!”, still a Kings fan chant though
I'm thinking probably 4 and 7 in the next 11 unless we make a trade or get back some of Reaves, Walker and AD early in that stretch. Game 11 is against the Bucks.
i didn't realize there were that many kings fans in socal either that, or their fans travel really well
Kings fans chanted light the beam inside Staples, they truly conquered the pathetic Lakers this season Laker fans should chant sell the team every game
Losses on Friday and Sunday and it's a wrap. Thanks to Jeanie and the entire FO for another awesome season.
When Lebron tied with the old fashioned 3-pt play with around 70 seconds left, how many were wondering, "How are they gonna blow this one?" Raise your hands. Harrison Barnes made a killer move, split two defenders, got the harm, made the FT. Damn. Then Lebron jacked a crappy 26 foot step-back 3 attempt - no trust in teammates, no smart ball movement - and it was basically FT time from there. No getting cheated by the refs, just uninspired basketball. Kings end the game on an 8-3 run. When Nunn hit that 3 to cut it to 1 with 7 secs left, I felt like Charlie Brown, getting ready to kick it before Lucy pulls the ball away. And we couldn't foul smartly. Christie got caught on the clear path and I felt like I had stars floating above my head, with Lucy laffing at me. Sometimes being a fan feels like a fool's errand. 3 losses this week by a grand total of 10 points. Lebron was 32-8-9 but needs to trust a few other guys not named Russell Westbrook in order to get it done, imo. This. Is. MADDENING. But you know what? I mostly agree with Darvin, after the game: "I still feel wholeheartedly that, at some point, we're going to break all the way through," Ham said. "We're competing, in my opinion, at a very high level. We've got guys that we're trying to mix and match due to injury. So trying to find out what collection of players down the stretch that you can go with is challenging. But guys are doing their part." "At some point." Yea. The thing is, I'm starting to feel the pressure of time. They will probably "break all the way through," but it might be too late. Others at LB - some of my favorite commenters - have lately basically said what Darvin's saying here, and I hope you guys are right and I'm wrong. Lebron's playing a ton of minutes at age 38. I just feel the clock winding down on this...did I say MADDENING? season so far. Lonnie Walker IV, AR, and AD can't come back soon enough. Literally.
story of the past two seasons, imo. you're not luka doncic or steph curry. you're a 29% three point shooter. 2/3 of your 3 point makes are assisted. if you have the ball in your hands, one of the worst plays possible is a pull-up three. just because it's a highlight when they go in doesn't mean it's the path to victory. it's the path to personal (not team) glory. yeah, that'll do it. we've dropped about 4 of these must-win games this year, and that will probably end up the margin between us and .500.
