Good listen, even if it is hosted by the greatest Laker hater of all tymez, and some shady fake news reporter guy clearly out to get the front office

    If we didn't already know...

    That's a sign of a bad team.

This is what I keep coming back to. If the team can just hang in there and AD comes back we can beat most of the teams ahead of us. We could beat some of these squads with just an improved roster around LeBron.

Our Jan schedule is actually very winnable for the most part. Any decent trade at this point, would give us a much-needed boost to get back in the play-in picture.

if we're waiting for the trade deadline in Feb, then I think that will be too late.

Agreed. If we can have a solid January then we’d be in a good spot if/when AD comes back.

glad someone else beat me to it. you can view being equidistant from 6th and last in two ways.

i'm still pretty skeptical on AD returning and staying healthy, but i think you have to operate on that assumption unless you're just going to blow it up. i hope we make a nunn/bev deal soon.

I think regardless of AD’s health we need to field the best team possible and I agree that means moving Nunn Bev and Jones ASAP. But I am a bit more optimistic about AD- I think he’ll be back in mid January.

We need to press the re-start button on the Lakers. There's been a fork stuck in the Lakers title chances for the last 2 years now and people still don't realize it. AD/Lebron together are not an elite title contending duo right now no matter how many chairs Lakers re-assemble with the roster changes

AD needs to go. Wish Lebron would be gone sooner but unfortunately because of his extension he can't be traded till offseason

I agree 100%. This thing has run its course and hopefully someone in the FO can convince the rest of the cooks it’s time for a new recipe.

again, i can go either way, but i'm more on team "let's futz on the margins and hope lebron and AD are healthy at the right time".

part of why we're here is fans were so desperate and delusional squinting hard made lonzo and kuzma look like legit #2 and #3 options to some.

i never want to go back there. even if i know we might have to, i'm not actively choosing it.

I’m mostly done because of the reoccurring injuries. I could handle LeGM’s mind games if we had a team not completely dependent upon wether or not BOTH of our main guys are on the floor. Again, we don’t have a well enough balanced roster to stay afloat when either of these guys have to sit and I’m not betting on this issue completely going away.
I have a feeling more than one of the Cooks feels the same way about the current situation.
I completely understand why LeGM wanted to offload a lot of the burden, but unfortunately, he chose the wrong guy for the job.

And I disagree 100%. Lebron and AD if they are healthy are a very tough pair. But this roster is full of holes/redundancy from not dealing Russ. We need to at least make some trades and see what we can put together.

Well, we can hope and pray Rob can pull off a couple of very good deals. Then we can hope and pray we can win enough games without AD. Then we can hope and pray neither AD nor LeGM don’t sit out anymore games.
That’s a lot to hope for.

Btw, what happened to this team giving a sh$t on the defensive end?
They started out the season giving great effort and now they don’t really care about stopping anyone.
They are currently rated 24th in the League.

Fair points but asking for a complete overhaul is a bigger crap shoot to me. You know that 1. Lebron is still capable of leading a team if he's healthy 2. AD is a top 5 MVP level player if healthy and arguably the best two way Big in the game. What are you going to get if you trade them? No idea at all, but I doubt you contend for a whole lot of years. If we at least put together a good solid team around these two we have a shot for a while. That's where I'm at at least. I like both of them and want to see them succeed again as cornerstones of the Lakers. I think they can.

Well, it’s always about the health “if’s” with these two.
That being said, they STILL don’t have the right pieces around them and our FO narrowed their chances significantly by deciding to not attaching either of the Firsts, as well as not taking back any money at all past this season, to get back mid level talent.

You didn’t even qualify it “because of injuries” so we can take it literally because you meant talent between them “now”. After watching weeks of AD playing at an MVP level. Scratch that … you stated like 10 days ago you hadn’t watched a game all year. Apparently just back in to pile on after AD got hurt. And drop another as bad of a take above …. as your the bubble ring was a joke and didn’t mean jack frequent proclamation.

With "health", same as any other "Elite Duo" ... AD, who as demonstrated this year is still an MVP type player, and this guy below are no longer an "elite title contending duo"? Name your Duo's above them which make AD and LeBron irrelevant.

    LeBron’s last 10 Games: 35 PTS - 5 REB - 5 AST 33 PTS - 9 REB - 9 AST 30 PTS - 9 REB - 4 AST 33 PTS - 7 REB - 9 AST 31 PTS - 6 REB - 11 AST 34 PTS - 2 REB - 8 AST 38 PTS - 6 REB - 5 AST 28 PTS - 7 REB - 5 AST 27 PTS - 9 REB - 6 AST 47 PTS - 10 REB - 9 AST
