I'd say we played a very good game at both ends for 16 of the 48 minutes against the Clips.

Translation: we suuuucked.

Well, I'll be optimistic while whining at the same time: At least the pick is in New Orleans. I kinda like that team right now. At least the pick it's not with the Phoenix Suns or something like that.

We're not a good basketball team right now. Not at all. We have players that can take over a game, and we'll likely get some games from time to time because of that. But we're really bad at playing basketball.

As many have already stated, we have many issues that a lot of people already saw before the season began. We're still probably doing even worse than what we thought, at least for now. And even if we manage to actually improve, become more consistent and such, honestly our ceiling is pretty damn low.

Is this team worse than the Robert Sacre Lakers? Nah, not that bad. But this might be the most frustrating team because at least at that time we had young players with potential growing up and picks to come. Right now we're right in the middle of nowhere. Nothing to look forward this season, nothing to look forward in the near future.

I just hope we don't end up killing even more future in a trade for Kyrie Irving in the future or something like that.

 

yeah, it's bad. some in ways anticipated and some in ways not anticipated. but to me, it's a stars league and our stars aren't up to the challenge. we need to be forward thinking in all moves this year. post-lebron thinking.

 

This forum is seriously the last thing keeping me somewhat attached to the Lakers. Have been a fan since 1997 and it was not always easy, but there were always some things to look forward to / players to cheer for. After the last couple of seasons and the beginning of this one, I don't even want to watch those guys play anymore. And don't even get me started on beverly in a Lakers uni. Makes me want to puke every single time.

 

Not a WMC but Lakers saved me some money on League Pass... again. Thanks i guess

 

yeah, i canceled it when we traded for russ. i didn't have a great feeling. didn't renew this year for same reason.

granted, i also have small children and live on the east coast, so it was already getting dicey to try to keep up with the late games.

i've been spared some pain.

I did think the team was medicore at best since pre-season but this is even a lvl I never would've predicted with 2 stars and that other guy making max
