the way Rob builds a team, we'll be lucky to be .500 someday, looks like the chip season was a fluke after all, it was build the same way as he has now just everything clicked at the right time and of course lack of injuries

 

coaching the Lakers use to be a dream job, now it should be every coach nightmare when they get a call from Jeannie/Kurt/Rob.....this season was over since preseason sad sad state

 

I think we are pretty much stuck in purgatory (and can't fully rebuild) until 2026, when we completely own our picks moving forward and there are no swaps with the Pelicans.

 

Unless we trade Bron and AD. I wish we could.

The problem though is that the Lakers don't trade stars unless they explicitly ask out. Or we let them walk for nothing, e.g., Pau.

Ideally we remain competitive enough so the Pels don't swap picks with us.
