This team is pure dog s***, run by awful leadership from every facet. No pride, no heart, no soul. Got blown out just like they were getting blown out 2/3s of the season last year.

i expected turnovers, but 23 is a ton. and forcing only 7 in the same game is how you lose by 30. both teams shot terribly, which is again, something that happens in the preseason, but sac got a lot of easy buckets handed to them.

As I mentioned in game time, our scrubs looked a lot worse than theirs. At least our starters are better.

I’m not thrilled with 15 offensive rebounds given up either. Reminds me of last season, happens too often, whether it’s lack of size, lack of effort, lack of knowing how to box out. Can’t have that, have to do better.

feel like 8 of them came on, like, two possessions, though.

    It's all Drummond's fault

    First half was decent.
I know it’s only Preseason, but this is a team with a ton of new players, it it kind of sucks that AD already has to sit. To me building chemistry is extremely important.
Russ played well in the first half, and then started doing Russ things in his short stint during the second.
Loved to see Nunn get it going.
We made more long jumpers tonight.
Losing it in the second half isn’t a biggie because the minutes played were greatly represented by guys who aren’t going to see much time when they count along with others who won’t be here.

We actually are missing a scoring punch from there big time now that Malik is gone.

No Melo he can’t guard anybody anymore.
Until I see my preferred Nunn Reaves starting backcourt, Nunn will be the scoring punch off the bench. NuNn if he works out will be a stronger better defensive version of Monk

Westbrook looked decent for awhile and then in his second stint he was bad/ stupid catch and shoot 3, bad TO, and smoked a layup. Still if he can be net neutral that is a big jump from last season

Still weird that they wasted the MLE on Walker l, This remains baffling. Team honestly seems better at long shots Reaves, Jones, and Gabriel then signing guys like Walker

Yeah, I would just feel more comfortable if we had more than ONE scoring option off the bench.
I guess when Dennis gets here, he kinda counts as another?

I think Nunn will start. So Schroeder will have to be the only key scorer off the bench. I’m not sure whether I consider anyone else a scorer on our bench; bev, reaves, walker, brown, JTA, Gabriel, Bryant.

We’re going to have to do a good job staggering our Russ and LeBron so the offence doesn’t stall out.

if we sub nunn out first for reaves, then bring nunn back to start the second (maybe with reaves and schroder), i think we can have the right balance of scoring and playmaking on the perimeter at all times.

wait this is the wmc: i know that these preseason losses are different than last year's, but it is starting to feel weird that we're the only team that can't manage to win a preseason game ever.

Right. It was kind of frustrating watching us lose another one.

It reminds me too much of how we would start games out fine and then end up blowing it in the second or third quarter last year.

We have to be able to close the deal on these teams. I think everyone believes they can come back on us and we keep proving them right.

Not super confident with our centers as initially thought.

Jones is athletic but is a little iffy on offense. TB looks like he needs time to get back into the groove of things after not playing much last year. Wenyen has been our best looking center.

    Can we sign Huff already

LOL Huff looks like a giant when he comes in. Height wise anyway. Not really skinny either after all his training. Jones has been looking OK I think. He did manage to complete an assist from Reaves last night having to dribble around his man down low (albeit awkwardly) to put the ball in the basket on the other side.

that was tough to watch in real time. but he kept his pivot foot, which a lot of bigs don't do very well anymore!

his three stroke is pretty ugly, as are, well...non-dunks.

but he's still better than any center on last year's roster.
