Even more reason not to bench one of the only young players who is under contract next year and could use the development.
It has become clear to me that Frank Vogel owes a considerable sum of money to an organization known as Cosa Nostra and is working that off this season. There is no one that could have predicted the level of absolute failure this team has displayed and can only be explained by some game fixing.
i'm 100% convinced vogel is pulling this sh** with the lineups to spite the FO for trading away the defense
as reaves's biggest fan, his advanced numbers don't state he gives us a much better chance at winning. i'd obviously still play him over avery (who gives even less of a chance), but i don't know if it changes outcomes in the last couple games. i think frank decided vets are more likely to win you playoff games (historically accurate), and considered these playoff games. that said, if they're playoff games, why isn't lebron playing? i don't know. it's just been an unmitigated disaster. i'm not sure if vogel did enough mitigating, but he couldn't possibly have done as much as people are suggesting. from the classic film (ok not really), "drowning mona": "when life hands you lemons, you make lemonade. what do you do when life hands you a bunch of s***?" "s*** salad?" we now know the answer.
Na man he looked a good 30pounds over and was with one of his dudes looking to get that work just a quick hey wassup and went on
With the season being over its even more reason to let our young guys get more minutes and experience.
[ Dr. Rajpal Brar, DPT (@3cbPerformance) Tweeted: Seen this all season - actions on the court haven’t dictated actual playing time. Imagine the kind of message that sends to a team - “we want you to play with effort but oh hey, the guys who actually do won’t get rewarded for it”. Hustling backwards
i think if i were hoping we were going to make the play-in, i'd be a lot more upset about reaves not playing. but i'm hoping we don't.
Where’s this guy’s knowledge and expertise been on the Nunn situation? Has he not been commenting at all last 6 weeks or LB types dropping the ball finding them. Stay in yo lane. Happier to see Reaves make the off season healthy so he can build on this season and his body.
I get it and agree. LavarBallsDad said what I was thinking better:”nothing on this team has made sense.”
