This is the worst Laker season ever for me, at least the sedale threatt years, those teams played hard
It’s not just Russ though. Monk, Melo, Bron etc all had wide open shots that they have been missing. Bron alone was 2-9 last night.
I'm glad I haven't watched a whole game this year. The team never deserved the support. Bunch of Robins.... SMH
Crazy to think a team with LBJ/AD/Westbrick will end up with a worse record and miss the playoffs than a team of Kobe/Lamar/Kwame
I’m sorry but 37 year old Lebron is not prime Kobe. For my money prime Lebron is not even Kobe when it comes down to competitive drive and ability to completely take over.
Pretty amazing thinking about that now. Very true. Hell, Smush Parker in year 1 did more than WB has. That's saying alot.
Smush gets a lot of hate (most of it warranted), but for the first 2/3's or so of that first season, he was pretty decent. He was even good at times. Westbrook has had like 5 good games.
My concern is.. What does this Team mean for the enduring Laker Legacy..? I know it's only one bad Season, but where's the bloodline to the History of the Franchise..? In past down times, we've at least had a Veteran Player like Magic or Kobe with Laker Championship pedigree, or we had promising young Talent like Eddie Jones , Van Exel, Lonzo & Ingram, etc. that we were developing to carry the Laker Brand. LeBron is our longest tenured Laker, even AD doesn't seem like he's 100% Purple & Gold. Everyone else is just a journeyman. It feels like the last few Seasons have just been completely rebuilding the Team around AD & LeBron every year... & that's a sure fire way to lose your identity.
My WMC: We still have 20 games before the end of the season. There should be a mercy clause that can be triggered by a team to end the season early.
I second this motion. LePrincess wouldn’t allow it because he needs to collect more points so he can tell everyone he’s the GOAT.
Actually I was proved wrong tonight, LOL! Good on ya Lebron. 56 freaking points at 37 years old. Unreal! Guess I spoke too soon.
