Well it wasn’t a nothing accomplishment to a lot of us fans and LeBron and AD and the rest of the team.

I liked that the players played like they actually cared.

If our stars and playoff rotation “cared” like that for 82 games they would have nothing left for 4 best of seven series in the PLAYOFFS. It’s not about “caring” always as per fans. And “sometimes” they “care” and just get beat by a team that played better and hit more shots and got more bounces and more calls …. not “cared” more.

Ok, let's rephrase that to make you happy. The players liked having something to play for. Everyone likes to play in games that matter and feel like they matter.
    There was a different court.
    There was a different feel.
    The players liked it.
    The fans liked it.
    I liked it.
    Silver liked it.
    Lebron liked it.

Most everyone seemed pretty happy about this IST

Yes that was the plan. The level of play for your 7-8 man playoff rotation is not sustainable 82 games “unless” you hopefully have a deep and talented enough roster as do the Lakers this year to eat minutes and spread that kind of effort around.

Not only that they would be hurt halfway through the season. I for one was nervous when Lebron bumped knees and Ludabrow got Draymon'ed and started limping.

Yup. Every year. Every team. A crap shoot with injuries. Denver won the lottery last year with their 6 guys.

Games like this and you have to think Rob is going to be scouting Jeremi Grant.
If you need a wing who can play D and is a bigger threat on offense to take some of these Rui minutes or when Cam doesn't have it.

yeah, it's inexcusable to have a scrub like exum hit 7(!) 3s. where were the defensive adjustments?

    ham is so goddamn awful

Rui the entire 4th quarter was painful. Really not sure why there.

Cam wasn't having a good game but he's shown up in the 4th quarter big time both on offense and defense and kind of strange not to give him another shot when Dallas got everything they wanted on offense

If you can't trust Cam and we know what happened with Vando in the playoffs. Your going to have to target a guy like Grant

Same old Lakers , playing seriously when they feel like to do so ..

This is why I lost interest in the regular season ..

They will mess around in SA too and will be close to lose one game

didn't get to see this one, but disappointing to lose a close one when they are missing of of their two best players

    Ideally that shouldn't happen

I see the same stuff in every NBA game these days. Guys leaving shooters, to rotate towards the paint on dribble penatration. It happens all the time, even at the end of games. Shrug...there must be some deep dive, advanced analytics, that show that its an effective strategy IDK. Kinda like playing prevent defense late in the 4th quarter in football.

WMC: Dallas is such a whiny bunch. My goodness. Luka acts as if he's never fouled anyone.
    That was annoying to watch.

Wouldn't you try something different though, after like 4th made 3?
Ham comes up with a game plan and sticks with it no matter what. In game adjustements are marginal at best, makes me worry.
