yeah, russell's got a lot of talent and little interest in really playing the game. smaller harden.

still was probably the right pick at his spot. burned me so bad we didn't get #1 that year. i think towns would be a superstar right now had we gotten him.

Trade all if these morons. Goddamn.

I physically hate Westbrook. I now only watch games for Reaves and, when he returns, THT. We are not winning anything during the remainder of LeBron era, so at least I get to see a glimpse of a "future.

    Awful.

Maybe when Nunn, THT, and Trevor can play, they will change the defensive identity of this team. I only see a couple of guys who play now that are actually interested in playing D on every possession. Pathetic effort.

I wanna say -- the run in 3rd coincided with Reaves playing and covering on D for Brick.

For a guy that could use a little muscle up top like AC developed Reaves is holding ground a lot in the key area against much bigger guys. He must have good legs and core. Just cannot jump a lick it seems.

Just imagine if everyone gave his effort on the defensive end by moving their feet.

He’s got really active and annoying hands when he’s able to get up into guys … always poking and jabbing at the ball and to try to impede motion.

I think he has very nice defensive fundamentals. I also think he got another 2 stops, at least, and got the rookie treatment... but those were stops.

once he establishes himself, he'll start getting some of those calls/non-calls in his favor, too. just how the refs work. by the end of his career, jason kidd could just grab people all day, sort of like how kawhi does now (watch his steals from ballhandlers--generally just grabs an arm).

I gotta be honest. In years past I was willing to give the team time to gel because the parts seemed to fit better in theory. This season, all the things we wondered about when it started as it pertained to fit, chemistry and lack of perimeter defense are EXACTLY what we're seeing. We can't play defense. We look slow and tired. I'm starting to worry this team may end up a little like the Nets team that traded for Garnett and Pierce.

Ironic that a piece we are missing is a forward who hustles on D, rebounds, and can occasionally score. We had him, but he was undervalued, under appreciated, and then ultimately traded for Westbrook.

I didn't see the game that way: this was in my mind the most settling game of the season.
1st half was the same b******* poor defense/rotations.

Second half I think they really found something with Bradley/Reaves/K9 taking turns playing lockdown D. They went back to Lebron at the top of the key and he created 2 layups for himself and three 3 pointers including for Bradley that were really good looks.

Re-assuring that the team can go back to the well particularly at Lebron's advanced age. Anyways TL;DR is they're starting to recreate their identity even with Westbrick around

Layup line for the Rockets throughout the fourth tonight. This team has zero pride in their team defense.

For a coach that isn’t known for great rotations, have this roster must be a lot of fun.
