It's pretty mind boggling. Taurean is like the Prince of single digits. 7 points tonight in 32 minutes. That's just not good. He had a few nice plays but overall shooting only 40% this year and down to 27% from three. That's 27 percent!!! Underwhelming.
In the final mins of the 4th…. Dlo stupidly allowing of the ball to roll slowly out of bounds. Never assume. Never put it in the ref’s decision for slow rolling balls like that man, just common sense. Also, Prince is not good….
I agree with everyone on Prince playing less going forward...32 minutes was probably more out of necessity though given we had all of our wings out. Now I see why Wolves fans were frustrated with Prince...
My WMC is going to be listening to how we played with no heart against Philly , down 4 important rotation players, including 3 large wings against a top tier opponent with a beast of a center that hit 20 or so 3s. Actually I wonder how much time, if ever, AD spends “extra” on his own time working on hitting short range jumpers. Would do so much for his game if he had consistency there. My guess is never so I’ll bit*h on that assumption.
Embiid is so much better now than AD it’s sad, I remember when AD was a top 3 player just 3 years ago
Man, screw Dantoni, Harden and Curry for ruining basketball. I’ve been incrementally losing interest in the sport I’ve been rabid about for my entire life. Winning or losing is disproportionally related to how well a team shoots from 3.
I’m ready to trade DLO at the deadline. I’m done with cats who make big money and are awful defensively. Even Curry learned how to play decent D!!!!!
yeah, i've been whining about it for years. gotta move the line back. this wasn't the intention when it was introduced. my real wmc is that marcus morris always plays perfect games against us. that guy will be 80 years old in a retirement home and come out and go 5-6 from three against us. other wmc: the pistons lost the suck-off to the wiz. i really don't like the set up heading into that game. they've lost 14 straight, and they've got us at home next. and we like to dig holes for ourselves. you can bet their coaching staff has this one circled as the slump buster.
