too late happened when your needed MVP missed 20 straight games in a season there was zero margin for error.
the russ trade doomed lebron's twilight and what should have been AD's prime. turns out AD wasn't going to be available, so it's really just lebron's twilight we wasted. i'm ok with it, as he wasted us with his russ trade. we had the formula. we won with it. and the stars got lazy/spooked and forced the russ trade and here we are. if we had kcp/kuz/trez, two of the three plus a future first has kyrie here--probably several other deals could have existed in the interim, too. the russ deal was the death. the question is how long we're dead.

I know it's the WMC page but I don't think we are done yet. Yes, the NO loss was atrocious and set us back. But there are 29 games left to play - still more than a third of the season. It's not even the All Star Game yet. It's not even past the trade deadline. And we are still only three games back from the 6th spot in the West. That's not done. Let's get a trade to improve this roster by Thursday and see what we can do.
Being so bad is really inexcusable and inexplicable. I'm not sure fans are fully ripping the team a new one as much as they should be.

Chemistry will be crushed similar to 2019 when everybody was in the AD trade rumors. That team ended up going 6-18 the rest of the way I believe. We are at that same point once again...where guys names are in trade rumors...idk what it'll do to our chemistry but Ham better do something about it and STOP playing Russ in crunchtime and STOP playing 3-guard lineups from here on out.
3 guard line ups are the staple of a great offensive team, the Bad Boys Pistons with OG IT, Dumars and Microwave practically terrorized the league in the 80s when Daly used them. Ham is from a classical school of coaching and also a Piston champ.
Well then he's an idiot. Because those bad boy guards could all defend and were tough as hell...they weren't "fake" tough like Beverley and Russ. Schroder is a decent defender but he's just too small and can't guard the bigger guards/wings effectively. Also those bad boy guards? only one of them was 6'1...and that was Isiah Thomas who played bigger than his height. Can't say the same about any of our guards.
who else's name is in trade rumors aside from russ and pat bev? and it's not like russ could play much worse anyways 2019 you had half the team constantly in AD trade rumors
