yeah, that stretch has huge implications. we've put ourselves in a position where every game is huge now, but against that particular group, they almost all need to be wins. obviously, that won't happen, but that sort of is what needs to happen. yeah, those two each got several calls that i was VERY unsure about. especially when both lebron and AD got charges on plays where brunson blindside undercut them.
on break opportunities, you can't sneak behind a guy without giving them space to land and take a step, not sure why that guideline wouldn't apply to paint catches, too. i don't know, it clearly wasn't a real defensive play, imo, which is why i'd call the foul on the defender.
Utah is about to go all in on wenbamayama if they fall they will. Clean house same with a couple other teams okc as well and Portland could fall fast
det/hou/SA/charlotte have a big "lead" on would-be tanking rivals. so i don't see the incentive anymore. you're not getting into that top 3 area with the truly flat odds, and the difference between being say, the 6th worst team and 9th worst team, lotto odds-wise isn't very big. anyway, we have to pass 3 of minny/utah/NO/por/okc between now and the end of the season, just to make the play-in. that's pretty daunting. por/utah/okc are the likeliest, but portland has zero incentive to tank, and as i said above, utah/okc have very little at this point. just have to hope our superior talent stays on the floor and some of the bad luck we've had in close games reverses.
lol. i think this is why we often overperform in the playoffs, though. nobody ever rests guys or throws up a stinker against us.
What happened to all the rhetoric from Ham about “holding every player accountable” and “we are going to be a very good defensive team?” I don’t have any faith in this guy atm.
Utah/okc/Portland even minny well be on there heels in the next 3 games same with kings and pelicans they all playing within each other benefits us as long as we keep winning ..... We need a solid 4-5 game streak to help w that lil bump up

lol, yeah, pretty much every team we're chasing is over .500 in their last 10. if that continues, we're cooked pretty much no matter what we do.
only dallas and NO are under .500 in the last 10, and both are expecting important players to return as the season wears on.
