Boy do I not care what life would have been like with the baby Lakers. We won a championship.

Yeah not interested. I mean NOP has three of our young guys plus Zion plus Adams and Bledsoe and they can’t even get to the playoffs. I’ll take AD and Lebron all day every day. We are defending champions.

I will say though how much I’m loving Randle’s ascension to All Star and his making the Knicks relevant again. He was always my favorite young Laker of the bunch and I defended him endlessly here among a handful of us who dug him. I wish that we had been able to keep him. He’s the only one I miss. I wanted to see him play along with Lebron.

Same. I LOVED Randle. But he probably had to go to New York and be his own man in order to blossom. Not that he couldn't have fit in alongside LeBron, but sometimes you gotta leave the nest to learn how to fly.

Very true. And I am honestly happy for all of them, especially Randle. Nance too, always loved Nance.

Oops, I mean 50 wins in a normal 82 game season, at best. There's no way they get past us, or other guys like Durant, Giannis, Kawhi, etc. in a 7 game playoff.

My WMC from today was our dudes settling for the outside shot too much. We need to attack that rim especially AD. We need to put a stomping on this fools in game 3! KCP and Kuz will have bigger games in LA for sure.

Marc Gasol hasn't ANY business seeing minutes in this series.

Pull your head out of your rear end, Vogel.

Hard to say Chris Paul would really have a made a difference here with the way Payne was slicing and dicing the Lakers defense.

Better crying now, than at home... or this is a very short series.

Someone needs to tell Vogel to sit Gasol on his a**. Dude shouldn't see a SINGLE minute in this series.

Play the inside court presence, or GTFO out of here.

I could coach this team better.

He had me wishing the Suns would CP3 back in. Not only from a basketball perspective was Payne playing that good, but something about his demeanor makes him also somehow exceed CP3 in the "I want to punch this guy in the face" metric.

Still a lot of the refs and their nonsense. Us getting a lot of free throws doesn’t mean the refs don’t suck. Like that play in the 4th where LeBron threw an outlet to AD streaking for an open dunk and Payne tried to freaking tackle him in mid-air. Zero play on the ball, absolutely reckless, could have ended terribly, but AD is big and landed on his feet so the refs didn’t even review it, BS. That and Booker getting 3 free throws multiple times to close the game, ridiculous nonsense.

i thought the refs really helped phx not get down big early, but i didn't see the end. i'm sure phx is whining about AD's fts, but he could have shot more, imo. guys were getting into his legs on boxouts on ways that i think were meant to cause injury.

my wmc: quit letting these pip squeaks be the more physical, aggressive team. someone needs to plant payne in the stands. chris paul needs to be getting hit routinely on screens.

relatedly, i'd like to see matthews get all of THT's minutes. the latter still isn't ready for the playoffs, imo, and he needs to be an in-case-of-big-lead-or-big-deficit-only. if kcp continues to not hit anything, i may like to see wes get some of his minutes, too. this is why we brought him in.
