i share you're mindset, i wont be upset if they dont but I still hold out hope that they can get it together to contend (if fully healthy)

yeah, i just think our team relies more on chemistry/timing than some other teams--particularly lac and bkn, who both play pretty simple schemes on both ends. you've seen the clips of drummond getting lost on d and of guys just not knowing where people are going to be offensively.

i'm not saying it's impossible--we probably have the most talented team in the league 1-10. and we have two of the five best players in the league, too. so we always have a shot.

They have to face Denver in the first round. Lakers can get themselves back together in that series and still win. But if they face Phoenix or LA Clippers, they will struggle.

Suns have been playing great ball all year. They are so much better than I expected. When we played them earlier this season I was really impressed with their poise and their defense (4th in the league at that point). They’d be tough to face first round for sure. I agree that Denver is our best bet.

i like that phx has a lot of inexperienced guys in playoff situation. you can prey on that. chris paul can't do EVERYTHING. though he really scares me in early rounds. and he's been healthier this year than in many recent years, i believe.

A frickin’ men. These guys spent months inside a bubble away from everyone and everything just to finish last season. There was a tweet back when we played Orlando about Kuz remarking to someone, maybe Kieff, about how they were passing a landmark they used to see every single day, day in day out for 100-some days in a row or whatever it was. These are people, they aren’t 2K players where you can turn off fatigue and injuries and you can base everything about them off their ratings.

Well, Phoenix fans shouldn't count their chickens until they've hatched as regards CP3. He's notorious for having his hammy go out in the playoffs too.

I know OT. And we suck right now.

I wish folks would stop saying we suck. Injuries have hurt this team, but we don't suck.

We definitely don't suck. There are some problems for sure - can't get a good, stable rotation due to injuries and therefore chemistry isn't as good as before, but we don't suck.

No Dennis. No Bron. No THT? We may look like we suck tonight, and tomorrow. Meh.

i disagree the fact that the offense drop off a cliff w/o James is indicative of Vogel poor offensive abilities, its still Lebron offense

Season is starting to resemble 2012/2013 with all these injuries

Lol. Last few posts are funny...

    Denial is something...

    Season is over folks.

Been done. Just watching because I love the Lakers, but it isn't our season.

Shutdown AD and LBJ and finish it out with the guys that are healthy.

    It's a wrap.

Basketball gods decided, not a Lakers year. Before Bron went down, we played great and i was seeing a chance for a repeat. Now... not so much. Still, there's no chance im waiving a white flag... even though, a play in game against Steph or Dame scares me as hell (is there even a worse scenario to imagine? When they catch fire, it's over).

"right now" Indicates a MOMENT IN TIME. And yes, we do suck, relative to being at full strength. That doesn't mean it can't change and we are full strength or close eventually in the playoffs. Hence the words "right now". You said yourself injuries have hurt us.

It's funny how things can change so quick. We were still on cloud nine from winning a championship and six months later I wouldn't be surprised if we lost pretty much every remaining game.

Not gonna argue with you. We don't suck. We are riddled with injuries that is the reason we are getting beat.

We’re rounding into play in game form. A loss vs Portland all but guarantees it.
