WMC 20-21: Whine, Moan And Complain... You Know You Want To

Luka whines way too much and gets away with it. Last night was ridiculous. He should have been thrown out with a second T. He gets a pass from the media.

 

Luka complains A LOT. But he's a fresh 22 years old and is a dream pairing next to AD after Bron hangs it up (pipe as long as Cuban owns them) . You have to anticipate him growing and maturing in that regard. 80% of the league complains about every call now. I hate that about the league. He's already a top 10 player, probably higher and his game is going to age really well. Without injuries there won't be a drop off for at least 11 years.

 

I am old school. I think of young magic and Bird, they never complained as much as Luka. Not a fan of his schtick. Hopefully, he will grow up. He has all the talent and drive to be an all-time great.

 

yeah, i'm not disputing that he whines. i just think it's being played up a bit (as others have noted, there is a lot of whining in the game), and i get visceral reactions to harden comparisons of any sort on account of his abject depravity.

 

Gonna take some time to adjust Lebron/Schroder/AD/Drummond. Let's see how it goes

 

Would def help if we could play with 5 guys.

not sure what's up with the jazz there, but the mavs have dropped inexplicable games all year. they lose at home and to bad teams and win on the road and against good teams.

 

I can't figure those teams out as well, but they always give us thier best. Dallas just gave us back one game.

 

last year, too, i think. they also have a 20-0 record when leading after the first quarter this year, which means they're what, 14-28 when they don't? they come out flat a lot, and you have to wonder what that's about. some of it may be luka, as he doesn't bring it from the jump every game, sometimes tries to coast and then turn it on against bad teams.

 

How are we favored tonight? Especially down two of our top 8 guys?
