sac/tor/ny/char/bos are all meh teams, so you have a shot.

figure you'll randomly compete in at least one other game because even terrible teams have to win sometimes. but yeah, 2-8 incoming.

They could be 32-32 with 8 games left. Yikes. Just crazy. When I see Solomon Hill...

Yeah, real upsetting. He in all likelihood will have cost LeBron the MVP trophy and put the Lakers in a position where every regular season game matters.

Why would we wait for 2nd halves to put the ball in the hands of THT and to make Trez a focal point of the offense with the 2nd unit ?

Watching Caruso trying to create and THT being off the ball was embarrassing

I expect us to be at 34-29 and a 7th seed when AD and Bron come back against the Raptors on May 2nd with 9 games left .

Spending a lot of energy on defense will make this to above average (at best for a couple) or mediocre shooters

The 3% without Bron is mind blowing. Just shows how key he is at setting the table for everyone else.

those writers coming up with scenarios where team came at THT with MAX offers were way to pre-mature and semi idiotic

Kuz is the only guy with a semblance of perimeter offense on this team. Seriously. Look where Trez, THT and Schroeder mostly do damage from. I don't think that's the way to go in this modern NBA... not saying we should just shoot threes, but we have to start hitting some of them. Sure, there's an occasional game where KCP hits a couple, but he's been cold as well lately.

I think they just miss Bron. They were open. How do you explain this?

it was just laker fear/hate. when THT looked great early, they had to act like he couldn't stay a laker. now that he's looked like a normal promising 20 year old, you don't hear it much. don't worry, as soon as we re-sign him, he'll suck and be overrated and overpaid no matter the price.

sorta like how AD immediately went from "totally unattainable with all of our assets combined" to "worth less than what we gave up".

It's a little thing but the Lakers are obviously a well coached team that tries to make the right play. You could see a few plays against the Clippers were the ball rotation was good but one of the passes required the Laker to gather the ball allowing the Clippers for whatever reason seemed to be taking this game very seriously were rotating hard and able to get back to the open shooter.

Lebron OTOH is amazing at not just finding the open player but also hitting him where he can just start his shooting motion.

If 21 of the 23 shots behind the arc were classified as open or wide open, I don’t see how that correlates with the Clippers rotating hard and getting back to open shooters.

Hard to judge without actually looking at each play. For example in the AC vid above. The ball is actually to his right, so he had to reach, then gather. Still an open shot but you could see he had less time to get that ball out as the rotation man was coming
