Yeah. That's why I made my comment above. She clearly wants to be rid of Jim and isn't hiding it at all.

So someone did the math and Kobe's usage rate is higher than his fg%.

Kobe trying to shoot 3's like Curry but this is reality:

They will keep getting after it individually as best they can but In terms of playing within a system, they already have tuned out. Byron has lost the team. He has no chance in motivating anyone, he's probably viewed by everyone except Kobe as the antithesis of what they personally need for a coach.

As far as I'm concerned this team has no coach. What we do have in Byron is a Stage Manager for the Kobe Farewell Tour.

i watched the post game interviews and these guys didn't want to hear it from reporters when it came to 'how was it like out there to hear all these people cheer for kobe?'

i dont blame them...these kids are trying their best to win but have no direction and are side clowns in this circus

Yea, you could totally see the "are you serious with that" vibe coming from Nick Young when Ireland asked him "were you surprised that the fans didn't boo Kobe out there tonight?" especially after talking about the negativity and how they can't play like a circus. The entire organization is going tone deaf. Yes obviously Kobe's retirement is important. Not even the biggest idiot would question that. But I don't think I'm wrong when I say it's NOT the most important focus for this year. You can pay homage to the past while honoring the future. To me the proportion of focus is very misplaced at the moment. I mean, Laker life has to go on after Kobe.

I'm not sure they do. Julius openly adores Kobe. Russell is a chill cat. Clarkson post a picture today saying he's proud to play with Kobe.

I don't think any of the youngsters get sick of it because honestly they have no barometer to know that this isn't what life is like with a "superstar" in the NBA. Hell they may be thinking "I guess this is what it's like to play with Durant or Westbrook" or whatever except Kobe is a legend to them so there's a long leash of loyalty.

i hope so...i was listening to Randle and Clarkson's interview and it didn't seem like they were into the Kobe questions at all

but then again, it was Trudell, maybe he irks them like he does me

They could have just been pissed off that they lost a truly pathetic game. I think they'll be alright. The only one that I'm not sure if he really truly adores Kobe is Russell, but the other two love him.

Steph Curry could go 0-20 for 11 consecutive games and still be ahead of Kobe in FG percentage.

Actually among all players playing at least 25 mpg Kobe has the lowest FG percentage. Nobody is worse, none.

I think very much Russell is into him. Leaving how he'd have to separate being irked when Kobe's just chucking without conscience and missing aside. He was thrilled jumping up and down when Kobe went retro prime at the end of the Washington game, and earlier a few minutes when the ball moved a few times and he had it back and zipped a pass to Kobe at the top of the 3 point line right side that he drained. They both were excited and bro hugging and digging the moment. He seems to genuinely want to pick his brain and Kobe seems to genuinely like the kid.

    Absolutely no to Phil ...

Another legend who is living in the past with his triangle offense and dissing of the 3pts shot .
