    No it's really amazing.

I mean I consider myself as big a Kobe homer as you'll find and even I acknowledge he's played really, really selfish offensively and his defense is god awful.

To be fair, I get his point. What he said was that if Kobe were on the Clippers or a much more competent team, he finds it hard to believe that Kobe couldn't help that team or be useful. Kobe is not helping himself out there, but it also doesn't make old man Kobe look any better on D for example, when everyone else out there is blowing it on defense too. It doesn't help Kobe, when we don't have a coach who will hold him accountable for terrible threes and who won't put him in the post in spots to succeed.

I think that was more Stephen A's point than that Kobe has no help. No help in the sense that we are a young and inexperienced team, and Kobe is kind of in a role to teach kids rather than be a part of an already knowledgable and skilled group. If this isn't completely new for him, it's the closest he's ever been with this since just before we got Pau. Not trying to make excuses, because again, he's not helping himself, but I got Stephen A's point, and I thought he made some sense.

Anytime someone looks back on 'Dantoni fondly, a puppy dies. Look what Byron has done to you guys.

It's probably hard to watch him play when you're on your knees washing his balls.

I think you might be misunderstanding me a bit. I don't look back on him fondly. I just think he would be a better coach for this team than Scott. Neither should be anywhere near this team. I would say that D'Antoni would be good for Russell's development. He is a point guard guru.

Heck at least D'Antoni ran a functional offense.

Someone needs to call PETA away from dumping fake blood on Dez Bryant.

I don't think the poster was necessarily saying Lou should start but just pointing out our best line-up on offense. If Kobe was playing better on defense I might object to the thought more, but right now I don't know. I lean more toward giving minutes to Brown and Metta though.

Can't really debate anything else in there. Especially the timed rotations. Explains why so many guys end up getting taken out just when they're starting to get rolling.

Deciding a rotations and sub minutes before the tip is the coaching equivalent of driving during rush hour with cruise control on. It's lazy and not going to end well. Very disgusting.

Maybe he's already been b**** slapped behind closed doors. If that has not happened yet, or does not happen this week ..... the whole FO needs to be b**** slapped. I'm waiting for Jack to say eff it and finally give up the seats. He had to think this year was going to be better than the last two.

Phoenix is probably kicking themselves for trading that pick to Philly right about now. Phoenix even thought that pick was going to be in the early teens. Now, that pick could be a 4th or 5th pick.

WTF?? Wait a minute.... who was that at the end that just stepped aside? He was right there for crissakes. Maybe he was in foul trouble??? If not then what was that?

Randle. He's an awful help defender. He really needs to challenge more shots.

Was he in foul trouble? Or it was too much work to move two feet and jump or at least put his f****** hands up? Benefit of doubt. Was it because he was in the restricted area already?

    WMC?

-i believe it was 2010 since the last time someone bit on a Kobe pump fake

-we're 4 games into the season and i have yet to see the Doom and Gloom thread

-the free tacos rule should be changed to us holding the team under 70 at halftime

-in the 30yrs i've been a fan, i've never seen this type of gutless defense

-Brandon Bass is only out there because we need a 5th guy on the court

    -Ryan Kelly *sigh*

The only excuse is that he was the only one back so he was "covering" someone else already behind him. Still the simple fundamental rule is stop the ball. Let the other guy make a play, but you make sure that kid doesn't throw down on us.

Randle might fall into the category of, "if I don't challenge shots, I don't foul. If I don't foul, I get to be in the game longer and score more points" Kentucky logic of thinking.
