Yeah I could say the same about you Magic. If I have one last season with the Dodgers (just like the 2 before) and no one sees it or any of them on TV, am I .... am I ..... whew! .....ummm ..... like Bruce Willis in The Sixth Sense???

I just don't understand. What's your breaking point?

This isn't just a tanking season, this is a season that is by far the worst I've seen as a Laker fan. I know I've said that each of the last three seasons, but somehow we find a way to dig deeper. Somehow this franchise finds a way to burrow below what we thought rock bottom was. Three years ago it was Mike D'Antoni and his awful system, marginalizing Pau, and of course the abandonment of Dwight Howard. Then it was Byron Scott and injury after injury to an already weak team.

But now? Now the team has more talent than it's had in three years and has been relatively healthy all along besides Kobe being in and out of the lineup... Now what's the excuse? The kids are too young... That's it? Because Porzingis, Okafor, and Towns are getting more minutes and generating more excitement than ours are. Are our players not as talented as those guys? Did our Front Office make a mistake taking D'Angelo instead of Porzingis?

What exactly are we as fans supposed to be doing here? Supporting this team blindly? I feel sorry for fans who are still consistently watching every minute of every game. You don't deserve that. We don't deserve that.

I'm sick of media personalities saying "You Laker fans are so spoiled, that's the problem. You expect too much too soon all the time."

First of all: F*** yes we do. We expect the greatest that we can be every single season. That's WHY so many people are Laker fans. That's WHY the Lakers are so expensive and so well known across the world. We're spoiled? Who's fault is that? All that line of thinking does is tell me the Front Office we have now is ill prepared to live up the legacy of this franchise. If these Buss kids were half of what their father was, they'd have this team in a better position.

Second of all: Being spoiled has made us recognize greatness when we see it. It's also helped us recognize bull**** when we see that and what we're getting is clearly the latter. We're getting at least two tanking seasons in a row. I don't believe D'Antoni's team was meant to tank, but the last two certainly were. We've been sold fool's gold while they're still charging gold prices.

I'm fed up. I hope you guys are too. Byron might be a big part of this, but it's not just him. Mitch and Jim and Jeanie have all signed off on what we're getting. This is pathetic and while I'll come here every day and watch CaChooka's videos before the NBA pulls them, I'm not going to waste a lot of my time and energy on the Lakers. I'm not buying tickets. I'm not watching TWC and giving them any sort of ratings boost. I'm not doing it and I hope you guys follow suit. If you DO go, if you MUST, then I hope you go with paper bags over your heads and signs that tell the world how unhappy you are. You deserve more than what you're getting.

There's inexperience, growing pains, rookie walls, and adjusting to the speed, size, and strength of the NBA game...and then there's complete and utter: "That's it. F*** it. I'm done being frustrated with my dumba** coach and his dumba** system, so I'm just going to go through the motions half-a**ed, not giving a s*** because actually caring is too infuriating and it hurts too much." Like a marriage on it's last legs, apathy is what numbs the pain to get you through the day. That's the mindset I see from our players, and i don't blame them because that's exactly how us fans feel.

I just don't know what else the front office needs to see. It's beyond time for a change.

This needs to be brought up more. It's what Jeff Katz said back in Nov/Dec but the other ESPNLA heads just brushed him off, the mentality of players' first years can be affected greatly by their suppose teachers, ie Kwame Brown.

What else do you need to make a change?

    - Young talent giving up? Check.
    - Veteran talent giving up? Check.
    - Media personalities making fun of your coach? Check.
    - Fans making fun of your coach? Check.
    - Worst record in the West? Check.
    - Worst record in franchise history? Check.
    - Ratings down? Check.
    - Young talent calling for change in the locker room? Check.
    - Veteran talent giving up on the season? Check.
    - Fans booing openly at the stadium? Check.

What else is there? What more do they need? Say something! Do ANYTHING! Radio silence is all we've got.

^^ Agreed, being fed manure about it all being the players fault with no call out on the terrible coaching from the talking heads (Worthy, Miller, Horry, etc.) is adding insult to injury. We aren't buying that nonsense.

Even more alarming however was the recent revelations coming out of the FO's camp saying they might bring BS back for another year of this horror show that they are daring to call basketball.

I said last night the boos towards Kelly were very misplaced. They should have been for Boron. Of course they should be for the FO too.

I actually watched the entire game last night, my first in awhile this season. And I do feel sorry for Kelly getting booed, yea he sucked it up last night, but he's not the only reason why we suck this bad:

    - Bad fit coaching wise
    - Aging/retiring super star who we have a misplaced obligation to cater to.
    -Incompetent FO
    - Inexperience youth
    - Lack of talent
    - Tremendous competition in the Western conference

I would start one, but that would require me dropping money on this pathetic product. I have an idea. Maybe we could get everyone on this board and LG and Laker Nation to all get a ticket to the same game and just start a Byron Sucks chant like 10 times throughout the night. If we could coordinate that, I would DEFINITELY be down. Just chant Byron sucks for minutes at a time. Even if the front office could somehow look past it, the damage it would do to him in the players eyes would probably force the FO to act.

That's been my idea since early in season, that or fire Boron Scott chants. But I understand if majority don't want to do that at a laker game.
What's mind numbing is that all these coaches of bad teams are getting fired all over the league yet Boron STILL HAS A FREAKING JOB!!! I cancelled my league pass early in the season because the product just did not justify the expense. But even still, I can't even get through a nationally televised game which is free. I watched maybe the first ten minutes of the Laker/Bulls game then went to bed because I just knew they were gonna lose. They were just playing confused not sure of what they were doing and it just was not Laker basketball. In fact it hasn't been a Laker season. Not for a few years at least.

I think it's time to stop with saying Kobe's like still hurting us when he's on the floor. These guys the more time they spend with him on the floor (when he's playing right) the better. Learn from it. Lots of times for quarters or halves he's still the best player on the team. Early season Kobe, yeah I was hating him for doing that like I seriously hate Byron for doing what he is doing.

It isn't weird, the fans are fed up with losing, and B0ron, and Kelly is a perfect example of someone who shouldn't be playing and B0ron's awful coaching. Kelly shouldn't be playing unless your team has suffered injury to every other big other than Sacre, yet he's played a bunch more games than Tarik Black has. Maybe Kelly doesn't deserve the boos specifically, but I get the boos completely.

I do feel a little bad for Kelly. But that was not a boo of Kelly as much as it was of Byron's substitution patters. People are tired of Byron not playing Randle and Russell. While there are a lot of dumb Laker fans, there are plenty of smart ones that know our ONLY way out of this mess is if those two youngsters get playing time and start learning. I don't think people hate Kelly. That's like booing Sacre. I think it was more of the fans booing that someone, ANYONE was on the court other than Randle.
