    Santa Clarita Diet!

No, it's not for everybody, but I like it almost as a guilty pleasure. It's a great relaxer and breath of fresh air amidst all the other super intensely dark shows out there.

So I finally got around to watching the final episode of Taboo, thought the whole series was amazing, one of the best series I've watched in ages.

They also confirmed a 2nd series!

I agree..I thought maybe I'd last 2-3 episodes into the season, but it's got a great story line and doesn't get too silly...good show

I started getting into The Magicians on Netflix! HOOKED! Great storytelling; love the camera angles. Acting is pretty good all-around. Everything just draws you in.

Watched, Cardboard Boxer, on Netflix this weekend. It's a sad film but gives the viewer an up front look into homelessness.

The hospital scene was my favorite but also the most emotional one in how they tied and linked the story together.

Doesn't have great reviews but I enjoyed it because of the story it told and the message it sent.

Started watching The People vs OJ Simpson yesterday. Probably gonna finish it tonight.

One of my high school teachers spent a few days randomly going over the trial, but I don't remember too much about it from that and I'm definitely too young to remember it personally. After I finish the show, I'm gonna have to go research how much of this is true, but right now I don't really care. It's all so believable that it just blows my mind that a real event can be ripe with so much drama. From the murder mystery to the racial context to the commentary on celebrity status and all the real people caught up in it, just overall some really captivating stuff!

^^^ from what I know of the trial, the People vs OJ is very accurate.

I know I keep bringing this up but I'd recommend the 30 for 30: OJ Made in America 5 Part documentary instead.

Just watched Split. Very suspenseful, Prox X was awesome in it, for the most it wasn't that predictable. Not a fan of the ending, I'm not sure if it was supposed intentionally vague, but even if so, the execution was poorly done. Why can't movie end strong? So many the fall off a cliff in the 3rd act.

Decided to start The Wire again.

I can't seem to muster the desire to watch Iron Fist. Too many opposing reviews, but I know I love The Wire.

I mean I haven't even watched the Wire, but I'd probably watch the Wire over Iron Fist too. And I enjoyed Iron Fist.

There's some good stuff in there, but there's some tough stuff get through too.

I'm finishing up finally watching Parks and Rec. I never liked it when it was on tv, but I like it on Netflix.

Yes, plan on watching it soon after I finish the FX series. Any idea if the 30 for 30 is available on any streaming services?

I know its not on Netflix. You can watch it on ESPN3 but you need a cable provider login to view that stuff. Try searching for it on Youtube. I thought I saw some of the parts on there. No sure how the quality is though.
