Right now I probably gotta place Pablo right behind MBDTF in my personal rankings but it might end up surpassing it since apparently this crazy mofo still hasn't finished the album lmao. Apparently he's still making some changes and adding some songs for the final release when the Tidal exclusivity ends.

John, as much as I love Kanye and all of his albums, I can't really disagree with you on one point; I would love to see Kanye take a step back and just produce. The idea of him producing Chance's entire debut album ...

    :Kobe Snickering:

What do you guys think about Chance by the way? (Well if you don't know of his other stuff, at least what did you think about him on Ultralight Beam)? I think he's one of the dopest kids in the game. Collaborates with real musicians and live instrumentation, really creative flows and wordplay, and he just exudes positivity in everything he does. Really cool dude.

I can't narrow it down. Depends on my mood. My favorite album is Me Against the World though.

It's really close for me, but Ambitionz as a ridah is just so good to me.

I think I like Picture me Rollin' beat as much, but I don't like the Outlaz. They're so bad compared to Pac, but that beat is so good...

And I forgot about So Many Tears. This is probably tied for favorite with Ambitionz as a Ridah

    First album I ever bought.

I wanna study music more and figure out how I can contribute. Just for my own enjoyment. I don't think I can rap but I have a really diverse taste in music and I think I can learn how to utilize my huge library of music and sample stuff to make some interesting beats. I mean I have no idea, I don't know what tools are out there or how much technical knowledge is required in the process, but I'm gonna look into it.

Trying to learn how to make instrumentals and I improvised a few quick snippets while going through the software before I read the manual or went through tutorials. Obviously I still have NOOO idea what I'm doing so it's still very sloppy and unpolished. But this was actually pretty fun.

Barn, I think you've posted stuff from Open Mike Eagle before (hell, that might be how I heard of him). Have you listened to "Time and Materials" by Cavanaugh? I'm not even sure who they are entirely, but it seems like a group of a few rappers and producers including Open Mike Eagle. Great stuff.

Kendrick just dropped ... something. I don't know whether to call this a mixtape or an album. It's called "untitled.unmastered". First few tracks have moments of brilliance but very rough and obviously "unmastered". Kinda inspiring for me right now though while I'm trying to learn production haha. Okay, I'm on track 3 right now. This is the Colbert track. Not as energetic as the live performance, but still pretty cool.

Yeah, I know Cavanaugh. I thought I might have posted a song or two from them. I didn't listen to their whole album yet thought. I just keep forgetting, so thanks for reminding me.

I also heard about Kendrick dropping something, but I thought it was just a song or two. Didn't know it was that many songs. I'll have to check it out

I like this. Never heard anything from him / them before. I like Cam'Ron a lot from the late 90s.
