lakers are his 3rd team since being drafted just few yrs back...i wont get my hopes up of him being anything worthwhile
This helps us in a few ways. Gives us the wing we need and will take minutes away from players that shouldn't be getting them. Hopefully Coach Ham takes the minutes away from the right players. Going to go watch highlights so I can get really optimistic.
Ham wasn't kidding about throwing him in the deep end right out of the gate -- 22 minutes. Nice to see someone taller than a ref out there. Saw some good things, but mostly the potential of things once he shakes off a little rust and develops chemistry with a lineup.
really like what i've seen from him. i think he should start next to reaves and walker. no big wing, but no real small guard, either. if nobody's going to be able to shoot, let's put our smart, appropriately-sized players out there. the ariza we were promised!
Wish he had a little softer touch around the rim. He's tried to muscle a handful of them in without great results. That aside, I like what i've seen and think he should start.
Great pickup, should play a key role in this team Good shooting, some offensive arsenal, good effort on D and in the glass. Can build his career with us as a 3&D
I like Troy better than JTA. He's getting thrown right into the fire, after missing the preseason on a new team. He's shown some early signs, as to why Rob pointed he and Lonnie out, as being guys that will contribute to this squad. I'm not putting him up there with Reaves or Walker yet, but he has some game.
He’s really been playing well. I like what he brings to the table. I’m pleasantly surprised with how quickly he’s fit right in and contributed on both ends.
Like I said in another thread, Lonnie and Troy can play. I was wrong to be disappointed at their acquisitions. For the minimum they’re great.
Lonnie got the TP MLE but your point stands. Plus Lonnie seems like he is going to be an even better player, more consistent (possibly) and definitely better defender than Monk was for us as a minimum salary last year, so that’s cool.
