I feel the tag of unathletic, for a guy his size, is way overused here and not true in the first place. He runs the floor great, consistently. He gets hammered for not getting off the ground more than barely on some dunks. He gets off as far as he needs to, some more than others especially on the ooops and sometimes when trying to block a shot. Point is he can get off the floor some. Is vertical the only factor considered in "athleticism" and coordination for a guy that is 280lbs give or take and 7 honest feet tall and strong enough wrestle even with Boogie?

With Black and Nance spelling him minutes at the 5, Moz should be able to stay healthy during the season. He is nimble for his size and not at all the plodding, slow footed lug he is made out to be. If you look at how Moz controls those lobs with his off hand, he is not uncoordinated. The best part of having him around is that he can mix it up with other frontlines and in some instances towers over them.

Actually see Julius out there starting to set some closer and more effective hard picks himself. Maybe being around Moz and even Nance who also does it well is starting to sink in. Not hard Julius. Run up really quick a little closer, feet a little more spread, cover your balls and set the pick.

Well, not to knock Mitch on this it was reported that Luke was the driving force in getting Mosgov. Mitch executed it.

That was what a lot of us figured, that Luke was the one who really pushed for him, and so far, and if he can stay healthy, though s*** can always happen (see Bogut's long history of injuries) it has been a great move with how the team is looking.

My comment though was just on ":Crazyartest:" a** sirron's latest Mitch gif. Non Moz related.

Of course if you are talking to the crazy one himself, I'm sure he can reply on his own behalf. May not know how big your arm is though. :Magic Brows:.

Just teasing Ox, seriously I have enjoyed our back and forth on this big Ruskie. Go Lakers!!

Hot damn I was against this signing but it's one of the best off season move in the NBA so far.

Mozgov was not allowed to defend by Joey Crawford's evil spawn.

While Russell's and Randle's productivity last night wasn't surprising...Mozgov's line of 20 and 6 was a welcome sight. At least he kept Lopez busy on the defensive end.
