I'm actually positive that in 2 years Zubac will be playing ahead of Mozgov. Thats almost a certainty unless injuries deteriorate Zubac' ceiling.

luckily, this injury occurred now and not in camp. those camp groin injuries tend to linger for entire seasons. i call it the "jerry stackhouse" injury. i'm actually shocked that i can't rename it after harden's stripper hounding a**. he must be bionic. running on taco bell and antibiotics...

Part of me knows this is BS, but I'm not too worried about if Mozgov is healthy because we have Zooblacca, and I'm more excited to see him play and learn in the heat of the game.

I have no expectations for how the team performs early anyway (but I do still have hopes we shock the world)

I'll be honest, I started playing Pokemon Go a couple weeks ago and it's the first exposure I've ever had to Pokemon (I'm 37). If I hadn't started playing that game cause my nephews forced me to, I would not have been able to make that reference. I would have seen that thing and not known if it was from Avatar, Pokemon or Dragonball...or maybe something else entirely.

I still have no clue what it means to be out in a park or center of a busy intersection and "see" Pokemon while using your phone to play the game. People over 10 really do this? No offense to people over 10 that are doing this intended. :p

Lol. I am in my 30s and I'm avidly playing Pokemon Go. The original RPG game on the game boy was released in 1997, when I was in jr high. I was a big fan then too. That game was basically the first JRPG that I got into, which led me to playing games like Final Fantasy 7, etc. I've probably seen a total of 2 episodes of the cartoon though. I probably would have watched it, but I never woke up early enough haha

BTW - I think Moz will be fine. We have the depth to bring him on in short minutes until he's completely healthy. I don't think it'll stop Luke from doing what he wants with this team

I still think this was a HORRIBLE deal. Ezeli got literally HALF of what we paid Mozgov...and the real problem with Mozgov's deal is the LENGTH of the contract and all 4 years guaranteed, no PO or TO. That's incredibly shortsighted of us but hey, I guess there's always the amnesty provision right?

I hope Im wrong about MOzgov but we will regret this deal for years to come. Oh, and it's going to stunt the growth and development of Zublacca..a guy that I'm very high on but he now won't get the opportunity thanks to Mozgov and to some extent...Tarik Black

I think the last two years of his deal will be rough on our cap, but I don't think he will stunt growth for Zubac and I think Mozgov is today better than Zubac so I'm okay with him right now. Zubac and Ingram are only 19 years old. By the time Deng and Mozgov are off the books (assuming we keep them the entire time), Zubac and Ingram will be just 23 years old. They'll be primed to take a larger role at exactly the right time.

Let me give you some perspective: Kyrie Irving just turned 24...and he's on his way to being a top 10 player THIS YEAR. Kyrie was given the keys from the moment he came into the league. I'm not saying Zubac is Kyrie...or evn that Ingram is...but the point is...I want these guys getting minutes now and developing as quickly as possible. I want them being impact players by year 2. None of this "bringing them along slowly" crap. Did the T'Wolves bring KAT along slowly? We need these guys to be really really good. Not just guys that play 20mpg. Zubac ok fine....he can play 18-20mpg and I would be happy with that. But Ingram? he needs to play 30-35 mpg in his first year and I'm just worried that won't happen. I'm worried he'll be given the DAR treatment from last year and get maybe 20-25 mpg. That's going to be unacceptable in my book.

By the time Ingram is 23...He should be a superstar. He can't get there if he's constantly playing behind Deng or getting benched in the 4th while Deng plays. Primed to take a larger role at the right time? He needs to be taking a larger role by NEXT year. Year 2 is when he should be making that transition. Not Year 4.
