Dude looks thick like, "I will break you". Seriously .... look at that neck! :Headbang:

I'm absolutely certain that just like Luol said in his interview on the the court yesterday, Mozzie is excited, pumped, loves Luuke and Shaw and this is a new beginning too, and he's looking forward to playing with the Young Guys, including Zubac.

Yeah. Maybe have us some fun with Frankenstein similarities by coincidence ..... but he's our (Frankenstein) :Jacksnicker:

That is one big man. It's not out of the realm of possibility, just sayin' ..... that with the coaching staff we have and the SYSTEM and talent and athletes around him, that he could be getting ready for his best year ever in the NBA. He's healthy again. We saw him dancing in the sand. No more knee tissue inflammation s*** or the shoulder.

Guys please temper your excitement on Mozgov. I want him to be successful but people are already expecting too much from him. I don't see him being anythign special and he probably won't even play that much as we'll probably go to small ball lineups a lot so Deng and Ingram can play together.

I'm not tempering anything if he's healthy. I know what my eyes see with him and his size, strength, game and mobility. Do you think I would have bet $10 with OX if not. Not sure what you are looking at. Look at not this year but his 20 games and playoff highlights with the Cavs 13-15 months ago. All predicated on him being healthy. He looks like he is. And if he is healthy and motivated like Luol Deng says he's motivated, Mozzie conceivably could get himself in the best shape of his life STILL. The old run through a wall effect athletes have for coaches and teammates they love. That would be a "physical" force for us in the middle we haven't had since Bynum.

Well, I like his frame better than Hibbert's already. He doesn't look like he's going to fall down at any time in any of those videos. That's a positive, big dude.

Yes. Seriously. His legs are in similar thick, solid range of adjectives but he's got "man muscle" going on up top as well as down low .... over [IMG] . That Neck may be more impressive to me than Okafor's "Hands".

I am as excited for Zubac to have to go up against a good guy personality wise like Mozzie in practice and be pushed by him skills and strength and career guidance wise, both coming from Europe .......as I am with the exact same dynamic of Deng and DI both pushing each other and coming out of Duke where they can talk Coach K stories.

Well done Lakers FO. My takes. I'll stand by them with the caveat as always of decent to good health, no season crippling injuries for either Deng or Mozzie.

I was watching "Russia's Toughest Prisons" on NatGeo [no reason...] and Moz could pass as one of the beefy guards you don't want to mess with. If he is healthy...avoids wearing dorky shirts, he won't be a liability out there. No, he won't be the second coming of a young Sabonis but he is here to do his role...nothing flashy just do the muscle work. That is all I expect. Bodyguard to the skill players unless Walton and Shaw have plays for him.

Yes. BUT. For a big man center in the league today .... Mozzie has "skills" as well. What my eyes tell me. I keep harping because I keep admiring in retrospect Let's Go Lakers harping about his EYE test with Clarkson very early on. And he was right!! Got the hell mocked out of him for the EYE test thing, because of his personality. I could be wrong but I hone in on what specific players have that are on the Lakers' roster. Don't watch much NBA ball otherwise or College ball until the tournament and you all tell me who to be watching. If sirron could call big balls for trading down scenarios and us taking Bender, then I want to be ballsy like him when I grow up. I hope I am right here. Give Mozzie health this year and he will make me proud.

Mozgov has touch on his shots, is agile enough and doesn't go outside of his own capabilities. He's been given respectable playing time in all the teams he's been on so he's no stiff. 10 ppg/6 rebounds/2 blocks is my projected line for him. All in 20-25 minutes of time on the floor. Nothing outrageous, nothing terrible either. Mozgov is a journeyman big albeit a decent one.

I think the vast majority of us are just expecting a competent Center. I don't think we need to temper expectations. Nobody here is expecting a 20/10 guy or even a 15/10 guy I don't think. We're expecting 10/8 maybe? If that's a lofty expectation then we're more likely to keep our pick this year than I thought!

well, given that bill russell never made mult-millions, i'm expecting 42/19/8blk, and 18 nba championships.

    am i doing it right?

in other news, my department should expect me to discover the roots of human kindness and how to foster it in all people, because i make more money than bf skinner did.
