Lol I agree. But l like Robinson. Don't know exactly where he's gonna play, but I like him, especially at the small ball 5. There has to be a potential trade brewing. Only plausible explanation.
I think I know!!!! They bring in sparring partners for Randle. He is gone through all the regular ones and needs new punching bags!!!
...has a quick second jump with very good instincts. Question is does Robinson have an adequate mid-range game to keep defenders from backing off? Don't know too much about him but he was selected #5.
Terrible inconsistent. But like others have mentioned he played real well the last 6-7 games last year. I still think he is a very raw player, that need serious minutes in order to contribute something. But serious minutes isn't what he's going to get here if he makes the team barring any injuries.
Which is fine for us with a young player on this team because we won't be relying on him, and any time he gets will be because he consistently earned it.
The guy couldn't even make an impact on the freaking Nets, a garbage team, where he should have been able to earn more time if he was any good. I read an article on him when he was pretty new to the Nets I think before the 2015 season, talking about working hard and coming in to the new situation with the opportunity to show what he's got, and then his season was as average as always. I'm not down on the guy, but we have Randle, we have Nance, Black, Yi, Deng, Auguste, we seem pretty set at the 4.
I am weary of those people so athletic they "don't have to shoot", and other than a free throw there isn't a lot of shooting on display. I will say however that I love how he accelerates vertically. That gruesome block, where he gets above the shooter to make a clean swat is awesome. All I can say is we will miss a lot, so Robinson could be useful. I am optimistic, for the amount that he will actually play, but hope people like Nance can eclipse them and make him unnecessary.
His game is ugly. Reminds me of Randle in that respect actually. High motor, about as polished as a rusty nail.
