I tried but couldn't. My throat was hoarse from screaming "someone take their time and snipe negan while he and rick are talking."
Friends saying FTWD is better than TWD for the past 2-3 seasons. Any truth to that, always thought FTWD is crap.
I watched seasons 1 and 2 of FTWD and I'd like to know why your friends think this. I haven't watched season 3 but I just find none of the characters likable, maybe the meth head because he's at least smart but everyone else, holy crap are they annoying.
Completely annoying. This huge detailed plan and the fight starts with Rick just getting frustrated and spraying shots with a short range weapon in the general direction of Negan. Then they proceed to waste huge amounts of very precious ammo. Just really poor writing.
I thought for sure that they were walking into another trap. That would have had me rolling my eyes more that the "suppressing fire!" (Archer reference.) Negan was talking like they were. If he doesn't kill Gabriel, that would have me fuming. And if Rick let's him use that as leverage, that would be more exasperating. Do Negan think pee peep pants and pants s***ting time that makes him more threatening? It just makes me laugh when he does that.
I don't think Negan cares about threat, he does it all as a joke. He's sort of like the Joker. The bullet spray is from the comics if I remember correctly and it was used in part to draw the hoard into the facility. A giant dinner bell if you will. The way they executed it on the show didn't make any sense because they didn't explain that really at all.
Except the Joker is smart while Negan is stupid, depending on where the plot needs him. He should have shot Carl and sure as hell Rosalita instead of redshirt pantry lady. Rick and Alexandria dont produce much, that's why they had to go the Hilltop. Why not execute at least Rick, if not the other troublemakers when thru had them at gunpoint from the garbage people. That's just a few examples.
Oh man, the great dilemma of whether or not to kill the bad guys and they end up not killing them and taking them alive. AMC has really outdone themselves this time, always coming up with new and innovative material that we haven't seen multiple times in previous seasons. Bravo. (Vomit)
Morgan, either all or nothing, Jesus suddenly a pacifist though we've seen him kill before. And I bet it won't cost any lives. Honestly, I say f*** negotiating for hostages. If they are using Gabriel or Rick to have them surrender, it means the whole "it's not about me" Rick said is garbage Did anybody remember Aaron's husband's name before he said it? Did Dwight leave one thing to trip them up for Negan. His fear of me vs his hate is a good idea. Really, the gun click from Morales? Yeah, they're really going going to kill him off that. It was well paced and the action scenes were good.
Refresh my memory as to what happened to carols group with that cloud of dust and them being disoriented and needing to follow an escaping savior.
Interesting episode, a lot of action but felt like 15 mins of it was just showing people shooting. Do they really have an unlimited supply of ammo? I might be blending the show and the comics but don't they have an ammo situation? Also what was up with that seemingly Rick in front of a green screen for the dark hallway scene.
