they're gonna tell us he was a substitute teacher during the weekdays and a rent-a-cop at the mall on weekends
All Out War might honestly be coming already in the second half. They're kind of cruising through Negan's arch here. They'll have to slow down a bit. I love the idea of the Whisperers but we shouldn't see them for another year and a half. Let Negan have his moments.
Always nice having Trevor in an episode. Except for a few character differences, it was a very comic book heavy episode. They are moving rather quickly with this story and I'm not sure I'm all okay with it, contrary to previous seasons.
Yeah I wish they'd slow down the development almost. We're going to come to a head of this Negan stuff really quickly.
I've never read the comics, but it seems to me that they are doing a single season story with Negan. I'm expecting some resolution with a possible cliff hanger in the season finale.
The usual TWD middle of season weak episode, I don't like the Tara character much if I might add. But that community gets a big bump up in timeline as compared to the comics, can be sure we'll be seeing a lot more of them later. Did enjoy the different kinds of walkers. The beached one looked awesome and those trapped under the sand was great too. For comic book readers: Spoiler 1. correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't Alexandria providing the weapons in All Out War? 2. This new community is Oceanside right? 3. Seems like they'll play a part in all out war for the tv universe by providing the weapons.
Spoiler: The new community I'm not sure that it's Oceanside or not. Honestly they felt like filler... I'd be surprised if they're more involved. They were... not very good.
I think we saw and learned too much about them for them not to be involved. We saw them have a ton of weapons and Rick and them just had their entire armory taken from them. I think we'll see them again in the second half of the season.
You're probably right, but they were really really bad... Awful acting and not very interesting characters.
Agreed with what others have said. Terrible, boring episode but I understand they need to set the stage for other things to happen.
I dont get why Walking Dead doesnt jump around more each episode like Game of Thrones. Tara is not an interesting or engaging character enough to carry an entire episode. Very dull episode.
"We kill people on site!!!" We have a girl ready to pull the trigger to kill anyone that comes in the camp...........Let's Tara go "I'm going to kill Negan he he" Has an assault rifle aimed at him 5 feet away..........Doesn't pull trigger Negan is carrying this season on his back because everything else has been piss poor. I find myself going Team Negan just based on the fact he's the only one that makes the show interesting.
Despite the crazy first episode, this season has been really dragging along this season even though the story has been moving quickly. It's a really weird situation. Negan really has been the saving grace this season.
Loved that episode. World building takes time and so far they've built a hell of a world. The only episode that's been an outright disappointment was the all female episode.
Stopped watching after the second episode. Don't really miss it. Maybe desperation will drive me back now that Westworld wrapped up its season.
We go through this every season. I don't understand why this show frustrates some people so much. We're in season 7. If you'e watched all the way through, you should know what this show is by now, and understand you will have some great fast paced episodes, and some slow character development episodes. I doubt the format will change. It is what it is.
