They're making those decisions and people don't want to tell them "no you can't do that!" even though they should totally not do that.
I feel like the general theme of the Walking Dead group is.... Rick: Let's stick together at all costs Group: Yes great idea Rick: Great on the count of 3 stick to together......1...2...3.. (group) stick together Random person in group 2 seconds later: (Freaks out) I got to go and leaves Rick: Alright you and you go get them, I will go and look by myself or bring somebody split up if need be Group lands in big s***.... Every damn time. Learn your lesson fools!. And kill everyone when you have the chance.
I don't think it's lame at all. This is what they've been setting up all season long. For the entire season someone has come to save them at the last second, but not this time. This time it's here: Lucille is bringing the retribution.

Seems like no one gets dealt with by Lucille and that's it's going to be a cliffhanger until next season as to who is going to get killed. So lame. Hopefully not true, but site has been reliable many times in the past.
I meant the cliffhanger was lame. Spoiler If Darryl is alive (which is most likely), that's dumb of them to use another cheap fake out after the Glen thing last season. If Darryl is dead, that is the dumbest death for a main character.
Well the guy said "you'll be okay" so I kind of figured it was just a moment they used to a) cliffhang you before the next episode and b) show you this is it man. They couldn't keep killing all these guys for basically the entire season with no consequences. Something bad is coming and this time it's for real.
Pretty much this. I love the show, but I don't like convenient writing. It was way too convenient to have Daryl run off so both Michonne and Glenn could be captured. I kind of wish they decided to just ditch the comics storyline and create a new story from her rather than small modifications.

Yeah the only cool parts were the two Kingdom fellas and Negan. Oh and the actor that played Trevor from GTAV too. Could have been a 20 min episode.
