Did they show him running out of bullets? That's a good point. I agree he's alive, I just wish they wouldn't pull that crap. I will be annoyed. Grateful, but annoyed.
Well, both sides of the fence of the roads had zombies, but the side facing the forest was clear. The only logic there is, is being masked by the blood and scent and the herd being drawn away from him by a distraction.
So you're telling me that he's trapped under what I assume is at least a 150-160 pound dead weight with walkers all around him... and they somehow choose to keep feeding on one part of the warm mass in front of them, but not both? So Glenn somehow pushes himself out from under a dead guy while the zombies go nuts maybe inches away from him and escapes from this: It doesn't make any sense man! He's GOT to die.
Glenn isn't dead. It's all set up too obviously that he's not dead, and not in a bait-and-switch kind of way.
Interesting they went that route. They stopped a catastrophe to bring us Morgan's story and even gave it another half hour to work with. I loved the episode. Seemed like a throwback to Season One.
I loved this episode. Last week, I was like aw man a Morgan episode. But that was fantastic. Great acting, great storytelling (the bite was kinda lame). Still though, I wish Morgan would just kill that damn wolf already. I know Eastman said killing that guy that was "pure evil" brought him no peace, but maybe he didn't realize he could have potentially saved many lives of prospective future victims in the process. We'll never know cuz the world ended. Lennie James did bring up a good point though on Talking Dead in that whether you do it Morgan's way or Rick's way, people still die. It's about being able to live with yourself that matters. Still, KILL THAT DAMN WOLF!
I think we're learning how Morgan is being shaken now. He adopted this guy's mantra and mentality, but it's not HIM and it's not reasonable all the time. There ARE exceptions. Aikido isn't ideal for the world of today, there must be a balance between never killing and killing in reason. Besides, this Wolf was now given a chance and he showed he would not change. To me, that's it. I'm not endangering the lives of all my group to try to prove some idealistic point. Kill him, but the next time someone comes around? Give them a chance too.
Well, based on the last episode, it seems Carol is headed where Morgan was mentally. Just killing because that's all she knows now. After they fended off the Wolves, Carol looked so dejected as she and Morgan crossed paths. There's going to be an interesting dynamic between those two in future episodes I'm sure of it.
Well the whole point of that scene was that they're literally crossing paths mentally. She's growing tired of the killing and he's realizing again that some killing is maybe necessary.
That was such an excellent episode. Every episode this season of TWD has been great. Why did FTWD suck so hard?
I felt like it lacked any real depth or substance. Most of the conflicts, plot points, action just felt very on-the-surface. I thought the druggie story had some potential after the pilot, but he didn't really seem to go anywhere. Granted TWD has had longer to marinate some of that stuff.
