    Sit Bron, let the young guys continue stat padding in order to have more value in what is hopefully Maginkas last off-season to see what dumb and dumber can do.

    If next year we aren't contending, fire his fat azz and move on to the next 3 year plan.

    I can say with 100% certainty that Magic and Pelinka overestimated themselves and their understanding of such a complex project.

    They thought they can come in and take the world by storm. They absolutely botched last years off season after signing LeBron by thinking they can overcome and outsmart conventional wisdom.

    It turned into a HUGE dumpster fire. This team won 35 games last year. They thought you add LeBron and that's 15 extra wins, job done.

    The NBA doesn't work like that. You need 15 pieces that fit each other and a coach who's style gets the best out of everyone.

    You also come to realize that bullying NBA teams in trade talks just DOESN'T work. We gifted away PG, which is 100% on Magic. We probably couldn't get Kawhi. And then we became desperate for AD and realized that even if you offer EVERYTHING, teams still refuse to do what you want.

    Honestly it's maybe in the heat of the moment.. But what was the last fail as gargantuan as this you have witnessed? Ya Boston is struggling right now.... But they still have 100 trade assets and an amazing GM who has proven to be good.

    Currently its looking really bleak. All I can hope for is that Magic and Pelinka realize that they f*** suck at this and seek help. Also that they learn from their horrible mistakes.

    There is nothing as detrimental to a sports team than an overconfident management who are immune to feedback and advice.

    Unfortunately most former great players are like this. They think they can figure it out because they always have and they think nobody understands the game better than they do.

    But team management has NOTHING to do with that. Managing egos, building relationships, having an understanding of what talents and personalities fit each other, evaluating prospects etc...

    You look around at guys like Jordan and Zeke who proved to be duds in the GM business and they suffer from the same symptoms.


    Boy this is such an epic implosion... I'm in disbelief this is really happening. We might win fewer games than last year after adding LeBron....
