Didn't we all call that a long time ago when Jones was looking enormous a few months ago?

Good win by Brock. When he fights, he looks terrified of getting hit in the face. Tonight, he kept his distance with Hunt, and effectively took him to the ground.

Miesha Tate just got destroyed by Amanda Nunez. 4 consecutive different women champs? Most unexpected. Wonder if whatshername will even want to come back.

Would love Holm vs. Nunez. Toe to toe striking, no ground game.

I decided not to get the fight after Jones/Cormier dropped. I watched them all later though and of the fights that stood out:

Lesnar/Hunt: went about as expected. Lesnar used all his enormous size and stayed out Hunt's power zone. Pretty uneventful and boring fight. Hunt just wanted the paycheck.

Nunez/Tate: I've never liked Tate as a fighter. She's always been underwhelming to me. Nunez just punched her right in the face and everything was downhill from there. I believe Rousey is still the most talented, but she absolutely lost focus on Holm whupped her good. Nunez looked good though. Holm/Nunez out to be interesting. Hopefully Tate retires. She seems like a nice person and I was happy to see her hard work pay off with a belt, but she's not a very impressive fighter to me.

Cormier/Silva: Silva was hitting him, but it was like Cormier didn't feel it. Cormier could just sit on him to win the fight easily. Boring.

Very disappointing. They are getting rocked with scandal left and right. New owners can't be happy about that.

Not remotely shocking I mean he was in the WWE what a month or two ago? We'd be silly to think differently.

Gunnar Nelson is next ;). For realz though, just legalize this s*** and be done with it. Do they think people are stupid? I used to lift heavy when i was a kid. Took me years to squat/deadlift 3x my body weight and look athletic, nowadays, kids do it in 2 years max. If you're smart and have a good doctor, peds/juice can help you look and feel good. Legal = safer for everybody.

Lesnar was ecstatic when they waived the pre fight drug test. Everyone cheats on this anyway, yeah I think they should just regulate the stuff, no one is gonna stop juicing

Wondering if Rhonda ever comes back. Some new players that look pretty good to challenge each other now.

I'm sure she's coming back, but it'll be a short lived probably. I think she and her brand really need to try to get back to that belt.

I think she will come back and be just fine. She paid the price for her over confidence and not training her stand up properly. She is incredibly driven and I think she will make the changes needed to get the belt back. If i were her I would move to an actual camp where she can train with other elite fighters, but we shall see.

Holm is older but I would really want to see a rematch with Rhonda.

I'd like to see her against the new champion too. If these new girls are better strikers, it's really an equalizer.

McGregor or Diaz? I think McGregor wins this time. He had Diaz last time, but didn't finish him off.

He was obviously more skilled, but the size wore him down. He needed to be patient and continue to pick him apart. Harder to knock out a bigger guy that can take a better punch. I think Diaz will potentially get really messed up, or he'll try to take it to the ground quickly.

I think McGregor wins this one actually sort of handily. He's had time to prepare now for the difference in size and he's definitely a better fighter. Diaz isn't a bad fighter, but his greatest talent is heart and McGregor's biggest talent is talent.

I don't think McGregor gets the knockout, but I think he gets the win.

That press conference was epic. Diaz is inside McGregor`s head in a big way.

Not sure how the fight is going to play out, but if forced to make a guess, I`d have to pick Diaz. He`s bigger, stronger, has some of the best boxing in mma, and is miles ahead of Connor in terms of BJJ, and, for whatever it`s worth, is clearly "winning" the pre-fight trash talk. I have to give him the edge.

But who knows... we`ll see. Can`t wait for saturday night. That presser got me pumped up.
