I want that feeling again. To be back on top. Although we've been blessed with probably the most consistency of any team every decade, these last 5 years have felt like a lifetime. It'll feel strange when we don't do it with Kobe, because that's who I've personally witnessed it with, and grew up watching the most with. And I'm sure the older fans felt the same way when Magic left. The torch will be passed, and I can't wait to witness the next Laker for life player do so. As time has always told, we will be back.
99-00 was the first title I witnessed after becoming a Laker fan. Followed Kobe throughout his entire career as well. Looking forward to the next Laker great to lead the way. These in between times are tough but man when you get back to the top, it's all the much sweeter.
