I think Russell will give opposing guards the business this season, he started on that during a stretch in the last one. With consistent playing time along with the rock in his hands, it should be the norm. Defensively, Russell has that Farmar-ish lazy tendencies...laying back on the pick or lagging on his pursuit.

Can you imagine what Kobe would do in these kind of drills. He'd destroy everyone, then make them stay longer, so he could do it again.

yeah, you can see the obvious difference between the dudes on the squad and the select team. but that's ok. these are some of the very best players in the world, and our guys are still young.

Definitely smoother and more comfortable shooting the ball. I'd like to see the result of a made shot, but baby steps.

How can anyone stand out when Jabricki Parker is taking every got damn shot and clanking more rims than Wesley Johnson on a heat check?

So... Pop went the "she's got a great sense of humor" route...

    Well, bye Julius.

Anyone else think Julius too often dribbles the ball too high?

For the life of me I can't figure it out, who's the guy with the dreads on the Ingram/Russell/Randle/Parker squad?

Night and game when our guys go against another select team versus the lineup of George, Green, Derozan, DJ, & Durant.

As you would expect. I'm not concerned by our inability to do good things against that extremely skilled lineup. It's all great experience and as the saying goes the harder competition you play the faster you get better.

Haha, normal practices will seem so much easier compared to those scrimmages against that kind of talent and how competitive it get.

    Gotta love it!

Pop keeping it down to earth. He seems impressed with DLO, not much so with Randel. Pop used pretty generic terms when speaking about Randle, at least he's getting along well personally.
