Oh that's just because he plans on coming here as a FA.

Out of all the NBA Superstars out there, PG-13 is the guy I would like most on this Lakers team. Forget Durant, Westbrooks, Cousins, Butler, Lebron, etc...

Not saying this because we missed out on major FA this off-season. But Paul George, everything he is about, how his game is played is perfect for what we need and easy for us fans to see the Kobe impact on George's game because of the similarities in style of play. He's locked up for 3 more years in IND, which is a bummer but by the time is contract is up we should be hitting our stride.

    Perfect player for us.

I thought he was restricted going into the summer of 2017? Blows my proposal in the Russell thread...

Paul George is signed through 2017/2018 and has a player option in the summer of 2018.

At that point he'll have 8 years of NBA experience and will be in precisely the same predicament as Westbrook is now. "Extend for two years in a place I like that's competitive and cash in at 10 years?" or "take my chances on the open market, sign a two year deal somewhere else, then cash in at 10 years over there."

I'm off by a season... I looked up George's status on the 'net and could not find any indication of what you wrote. I'm still all for taking a run at him in that summer of 2018. By then hopefully, our "young bucks" would have served loud notices to make it tempting for George to consider us.

So I'm sitting in a Mexican restaurant typing this on my phone with salsa wet fingers while watching team USA vs Select with 5 minutes left in the 3rd quarter ....up 53 to 47 on one of several flat panels here for watching. The women's teams. It's legit with electronic score display in lower portion of screen and all that fancy s***. Like a real game, for USA Basketball. It's pretty damn close considering. Go Team Select. :Headbang:

I must have missed the "real" men's game like this. Who won? With 3 young gun Lakers on the select roster it must have also have been close? :Magic Brows: :Shaqwink: Anyone have a link to the formal men's game?

Edit: Holy crap Underdogs .... team USA only up 82-81 with 1:18 left in game.

Edit: Final USA 88 Select 84.

So there was no formal Team USA vs Team Select Men's game??? WTF.... over?? Why not? Sure Team USA lookin' all fine and powerful when the bright lights aren't on..... what about if it had been put up there with electronic score at bottom and all that fancy s***? Maybe Team USA's sphincters pucker a bit more facing Lakers "Young Guns" and all their role players supporting them?

yeah I knew there wasn't a formal scrimmage. The only scrimmages they had were after there respective practices but those were last week.

Haha, wasn't sure what you were talking about.

Watching Russell and our guys during the scrimmage, we forget how great Kyrie was evening when he was on the select team. I remember watching this when it came out but forgot about it till just now when I was looking through NBA Memes videos

    Damn those handles...

Someone should send that video to DAR so he knows that's possible to do with the ball. :Shaqwink: And then tell him not to come out of the gym this summer before camp until his handles are that good. :Jacksnicker:
