Still too many minutes for both LeBron and AD...unreal that Kerr continues to play them the most out of everyone!

Put f***ing Tatum and Bam in the game man we need our guys to be fresh next year!

I think Curry has been taking out himself since he arrived in Paris. Him and Embiid should just stay at the hotel until the gold medal game is over, then they can go pick up their jewelry at the podium.

in the bits i've seen curry doesn't look like himself. like a full step slower. that wouldn't bode well for gs if it carries over into the season...

First time in like 20+ years Spain didn't qualifed for major competition playoffs and they are currently European champions, but eliminated. It don't matter who is coach when they still rely on 50 years old Rudy Fernandez and Lull and Gazol brothers can't be replaced by no names from GSW or Memphis .Giannis and Greece will play vs USA in quarterfinals

spain has really fallen off on the intl. stage it seems like. i was shocked to see only two NBA players on their olympic roster, with their best player being santi aldama

it's so weird that some of these countries just have these pockets of greatness. spain, argentina, and lithuania have all fielded good teams for fairly long periods of time in the past, but aren't currently powerhouses. i guess france and canada and maybe australia are having their best cohorts now?

canada has taken a huge leap in recent years. crazy how so many good young players are coming out of there

i remember when steve nash, rick fox, todd macculloch, and jamal magloire were the only canadians in the league

Actually there is a draw after group games are finished and if both USA and Serbia will win their games by more than 2 points, quarter finals USA- Brazil and Greece Germany, Serbia -Australia and loser of Canada -France will be eliminated

It's odd that the South American teams have just fallen off a cliff. Figured Manu and the Argentinian powerhouse would have cemented the sport down there. Brazil still produces good volleyball players - they need to convert those guys to bballers. Better for their careers lol.

Figured the Scandanivian, Northern Euro would eventually take off - they're just so tall on average but really hasn't happened. Need more Markennens. Lithuinia has history and height but they are a small country so probably just a bad cycle

Otoh I never expected Germany and France to get this good - Dirk seemed a one off. Spain produces a ridiculous number of good athletes so they'll probably be back at some point.

The Asian countries maybe coming on slowly as well - Japan isn't half bad and it's still hugely popular in phillipines, taiwan, and china. China just doesn't seem to do as well with team sports compared to individual ones.

Australia, the Slavic countries will probably always decent to good
